No, I have a normal life. I like listening to music, but it doesn't affect anything, I just like music. The images of these people are created as ideals, ideal people do not exist.

Jennie is trending really well in Korea. I think the picture is obvious.
-
NewJeans are now children of the nation, you have no idea how influential they are in Korea even without HYBE promotion. Aespa had a great year, but NewJeans are too influential.
If you look at the Melon chart, for example, which is the most popular chart, there are simply a huge number of NJ songs, even Hype Boy and Attention are still there, and these are just their first tracks.

HYBE said in court "Even if she is reappointed as CEO, the possibility of convening the board again to dismiss her cannot be ruled out."
Even if court grants an injunction again and reinstates MHJ as CEO, they will remove her again.
But why does MHJ want to come back as CEO as she a problem with Hybe, their multi label system, their working, why does she want to go back as CEO in a company who is 80% owned by Hybe.
They fired him once, we see the result, investors all left, the company's stock is unstable, Hybe is losing money. Do you think the company's reputation will only benefit if MHJ is fired a second time? They need to accept defeat and make all concessions to MHJ, otherwise the company will continue to suffer losses, regardless of whether BTS and SVT are active or not.
-
Let me remind everyone who forgot, Bang Si-hyuk's father is a high-ranking politician, the first lady of Korea together with the first lady of Japan personally came to Hybe and it is not known what their true motives were, Hybe often interacts with politicians, but for some reason someone is outraged by the interaction of politicians with NewJeans.

I think she needs to quit the K-pop industry and just do modeling. She's just out of place in K-pop, but she shines as a brand ambassador. 90% of the discussions online about her are based on some brand imagery, and 10% is everything else.

Investors said that HYBE was stupid for betting everything on BTS's comeback, so they took their 399.8 billion won and successfully left. In general, betting the future of the company on one or two old groups is the level of intelligence of ARMY, who always say that after BTS returns from the army, the company will suddenly make a huge profit.

See that? very cool track.

The Grammys are totally irrelevant. They are basically a pay to win game. The most streamed artists, sans Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, refuse to even go to the Grammys anymore because they basically use their popularity to get ratings. True talents rarely win anymore. Most have even said this, look at may interviews of the most popular artists
If they paid to win, BTS would definitely win the Grammys. The Grammys are one of the awards that the fandom has the least input into, which is fair because ultimately the fandom doesn't care about the quality of the track, they just want to vote and have an impact. And even payola has no effect on the final result.
Secondly, talented people often take this award, maybe that's why BTS didn't take it, because they have no talent for music, personally I think their music is overrated due to the fandom and the influence of the company, there is nothing remarkable in it to give the highest music awards or even consider it significant to the world. But nevertheless, Grammys have a lot of nominations, and many insignificant people receive them. Billie Eilish received it not at the peak of popularity, but only at dawn, it was really worthy considering her talent.

Imo this would be better than NJ losing their music career and be kept in dungeon (assuming they couldnt break the contract)
if MHJ able to keep its authority over creativity direction then why not? At least it resolves one part of the issue. They just need to nego for creativity independence.
But for the member protection part, yea, if she is no longer the CEO then she can't "protect" them. But now all eyes will be on the new HYBE management and how they treat NJ. With NJ members being vocal now, they can at any point of time raise the concern to management or even publicly...
At least win half the battle than a stalemate...
Because this offer from ADOR is a dummy, as soon as she signs the contract, she will be officially fired the next day. The contract stipulates unilateral termination. How can you not understand that BSH intends to fire her anyway, this person's greed and vanity are too big, as is his belly. If we look at the situation, MHJ just needs to take as much money from Hybe as possible and try to take NewJeans away, trying to sue for the band's name. Staying in ADOR is pointless, even if MHJ returns, Hybe will constantly undermine the company's activities.

The album sales of Seventeen and aespa in this month will probably show where KPop is heading to.
Although some acts were able to hold on, generally KPop album sales declined by around 30-40%.
SVT sold about 2.9mil and aespa 1.15mil in their first weeks this year. If there are marked decline to these figures that means the decline of KPop is permanent and cannot really be reversed.
Out of all the singers who had concerts in the Olympic or Soccer Stadium, all but two, including Lim Youngwoong, had sales north of 1 million. One of the exceptions was Psy who had more than 1 Billion views.
Yet the Koreans allowed someone who neither sold 1 million albums nor had 1 billion views to have a concert larger than anyone else. Her 2024 concert is the largest concert ever held in Korea during the 2020s, and will remain so since Korea no longer has any stadium capable of housing more than 35,000 now.
I see it as shooting its own feet.
The singer, whose name I won't mention here, had a larger concert than everyone in this year who had more than a million album sales, basically showing the world that all these album sales might not show the real popularity of such acts, to put it mildly.
I think that more than anything , this

We have provided more information on this in our privacy policy.signified the beginning of the end of the album explosion of KPop.
It took quite some time for the reality to sink in, but if someone who never sold more than 400,000 albums in her entire career can have a larger concert than all these acts who sold more than a million copies, what were the fans doing by buying multiple copies of albums?
That was the beginning of a huge trend change. The singer who only had hostility against KPop might be getting her final revenge after all.
The general retreat of KPop from all across the board is turning into a rout, and at this rate on 2025 the highest selling act won't beat 2,000,000.
People like Day6 and Qwer do not clear huge numbers of albums.
What will happen to Kpop ? WIthout the huge sales the fervor cannot continue for too long. It was wrong to tolerate someone who regularly undermined KPop whenever she could, and that is going to hurt a lot.
Why do people even buy this cardboard in such quantities, is it some kind of fetish? I personally bought a couple of albums, but I never even thought of buying several versions of one album.

Why aren't there Twice, Stray Kids and other JYP groups? I thought they were making a lot of money on YT.

this will always be an overreaction to me idgaf
like... what a jokeand what's more absurd is
had it not been a member of BTS
other people would feel the same
you'd get a bunch of viral memes from it,
kpop stans would laugh at the absurdity of it all and then move on with their lives
cant believe I had to read through think pieces over this
gotta just shake my head
everybody blew this shit up so much, bro had to apologise TWICE
AND they made him pay almost the same fine as that woman who was driving a CAR, hit into multiple poles and caused 10x more damage? FOR WHAT?
craziness all around yo
He broke the law when he was in the military. I don't think it's excessive because he's an idol. They're already incapable of controlling their own fandom, and he's setting a very negative example for them. If you can't control it, you'll take all the criticism, BTS should have started nurturing their fandom a long time ago, instead of using fanaticism to make money.

Stop comparing her to Audrey Hepburn, she doesn't look like her at all. Firstly, Audrey has European beauty, not Asian, secondly, Audrey's clothes were always laconic, without such gloves and shoes. With all due respect to Wonyoung, her image is simply awful, Wonyoung has absolutely no individuality, one imitation of a famous actress.

If MHJ comes back as CEO, it will be like the whole army was just humiliated by Hybe himself, it will be funny. Yeah, if MHJ comes back as CEO, I will just open a bottle of expensive alcohol and drink to this event, it will be a legendary event in K-pop, how one woman bent not just a company, but the most toxic fandom.

Well, and of course the main idea is that idols need education so that they can develop at least a little intelligence. All these fake documents about online education have long been refuted by the low level of intelligence of these same people, honestly, the situation of intellectual development of idols is very deplorable, they spend huge amounts of money on media games, although they could have invested in creating a simplified educational system for idols

any thoughts? Karl-III XD
No idea, as in the rest of the world money decides, if it were an ordinary person in his place, they would have quartered him for the sake of good statistics. It's not the first time they get caught in some kind of violation and come out clean from the situation, here all that's left is to hang a stigma for the rest of their lives and remember this in order to somehow punish the child.
