If they paid to win, BTS would definitely win the Grammys. The Grammys are one of the awards that the fandom has the least input into, which is fair because ultimately the fandom doesn't care about the quality of the track, they just want to vote and have an impact. And even payola has no effect on the final result.

He broke the law when he was in the military. I don't think it's excessive because he's an idol. They're already incapable of controlling their own fandom, and he's setting a very negative example for them.
