What does ambition mean to you? To be top 3 in charts? You don't have to chart high to have successful music career. I don't listen to hot 100 music, i don't listen to my country "hot 100" either.
They know what they are doing and that's releasing music they like. I cannot imagine taehyung releasing album like jk's golden, for example. Would he fo better in the charts? Yes, but that's not him. Or Jin. That would be weird.
Suga spoke about doing music for other artists and how he has to think about what would do well with public. But he doesn't have that pressure when he does music for himself. He does what he likes. They can do music that will top the charts and they do it when they are bts. All 7 members have different taste in music and finally got the chance to express themselves.
As for RM and his new album; dude is in the army, dropped indy album that he won't even promote because, you know, he's in the army. Yes, i know this is a bait thread, but it was never expected he would compete with newjeans or whomever else on charts, not with music like that, and we've already discussed about it here a month or two ago.
So absolutely any bad music can be justified by the fact that it was made for oneself, for one’s inner world. Nobody in BTS knows how to make music, it’s always boring, uninteresting, cramped. Stop religiously believing that your artists are unique and talented - they are not. Jungkook and Jimin took off, and given that their songs were written by people who know how to write songs, RM and others will never take off because they are bad at writing songs. Their success is due only to fans who listen to their work not because it is good, but because it is the work of their favorites.

It's funny that Hybe tried to use RM to undermine NewJeans' comeback, they even postponed the release of MV NJ by 2 hours, but even so, NewJeans surpassed RM in all indicators, whether in sales, in the video, or in the local charts. LSF have never been a top group, what's the point? To be at the top you need to be able to sing, all LSF tracks are the excellent work of music producers, it would be fairer to give them all the honors, and not vice versa. While NewJeans are good and normal in terms of vocals and songs are written revealing all the best sides of the participants. That's why people listen to Ditto, not because it's a good song, but because the New Jeans perform it, while people listen to LSF because it's a good song, but not because they perform it.

This was the main reason for MHJ’s complaints against Hybe, even before the conflict and debut, and even after, the entire Internet was filled with comparisons of these two groups and illit received its lifelong status as fakejeans. Some people really believe that Hybe will work with NewJeans after groups like Gfriend and fromis_9. Let me tell you how everything will be, they will move away from the MHJ concept, into something mediocre and uninteresting, unsuccessful 3-4 comebacks and a disband, at best, at worst 1-2 comebacks without advancement and, of course, hiatus. If these groups are not supervised by Bang, then you can forget about any adequate promotion. Let me remind you that Hybe does not have a single successful girl group, not a single one, all of their groups are mired in major scandals (Coachella, plagiarism)

This thread has been peak levels of delusion for a while. Anyone with an iota of critical thinking could see what this – and MHJ - was from the start.
I’ve always been a fan of NewJeans, a mainstay on my playlists, but LSF are my preferred group. I also have a soft spot for the IILIT girls after watching RU Next and really growing fond of the girls, their hard work and their desperation to debut (especially Yunah) – although their music isn’t fully to my taste, they are still cute bops. ILLIT should be able to be riding high after a great debut right now, but we know how that turned out…
The hate these girls have received from bunnies – instigated by MHJ, but fervently and almost excitedly lapped up by them - has really made it difficult for me to even listen to NewJeans. Everything is ‘I feel so bad for NewJeans’ with barely a thought for LSF or ILLIT who are the true innocent parties in all of this. Certain pockets of the fandom have relished in the hate they received at worst, or barely actively stood against it at best. I don’t consider NewJeans as innocents in this given their parents involvement, inevitable communication between them and anyone can see on which side they stand.
In her own words MHJ thinks the fans are childish fools (well said given the last few weeks on this site), and she has played them like fools. Bunnies even got a name check from her in her Kakao messages, so well done I guess. NewJeans fans should hope other fandoms will show more empathy to NewJeans than they have shown ILLIT and others if the tables ever turn because public opinions will change but facts (and court cases) will stand the test of time.
The popularity of ILLIT is payola of pure water. R U next had very low ratings and few people even knew about this group, nevertheless, during the first knocks of their debut they set a record on Spotify, and such that only some with a huge fandom have something similar. And this company accuses someone of something, it’s like a criminal will accuse a thief of stealing something.
