My parents and I have only ever had covid (pneumonia is worse tho imo, I thought nothing could top covid and something did) but they’re not scared of anything like they are bed bugs. After my grandpa brought home a couch from the side of the street, my parents have been super vigilant even tho it wasn’t even our house. It was a nightmare to get them out of my grandparents’ apartment and so I couldn’t imagine how awful it’d be in a family home they’re constantly harping on about not bringing food upstairs when that doesn’t even attract the BB in the first plac
