17 pages, 300 comments. Is this a documentary or a mockumentary..?
One side is saying vocals doesn't matter because they are entertainers, and a buncha other artists are also bad vocally, especially some top GGs.
Question for this side: do yall think yall are the enabler for these types of idols? That if you say 'it's ok, you don't have to improve' or 'other artists are just as bad!' it will stroke their ego and prevent them from actually improving? Since everybody around them are 'Yes men/women'. How does one try to improve a weakness when fans keep babying them? FYI I am talking about criticism of singing, not the amount of hateful message idols are getting.
Other side is saying if you're a singer, at least learn how to sing.
Question for this side: Does idol actually needs to be good at singing? Can't they be entertainers and performers? Because an idol resume includes alot of things besides singing. If a person can minimize their time spent on a song, and help the group in different ways, wouldn't that also count as being a good idol? Do you think the hate Sakura is receiving is blown out due to the recent drama with Hybe+MHJ and their unfortunate Coachella performances?
I didn't read all 17 pages, so if all of these are already covered, LMK
