Sadly trending on melon realtime doesn’t really mean anything. I remember when txt(before sugar rush ride because that literally had high chart positions) they would trend at 1 but wouldnt chart that good, same goes with kep1er, I remember when we fresh was released and it trended number 1 on melon real time chart but it went to not chart at all, same with enhypen today(even tho its to soon to tell). Anything can trend on melon at 1 really so trending at 2 isnt really as big of a deal as you might think. And I think they only had around 1.5K pre orders as of today in Ktown4u(one of the biggest shops if not the biggest shop in kpop). Its to soon to tell if they will chart since it all depends if the song is good, marketing, and most impotantly, luck but trending in melone really means nothing since anyone an anything can trend(I even saw Taylor swift trending once at number 1)
