Controversy wont make a difference in the US. I mean look at all the popular artists in the US most of them have several controversies and it doesnt affect them. People here just really dont care about the controversies. I personally like their music so hopefully Hybe has good things planned for them like they did TXT.

Exactly. I believe the Grammys were trying to get any of the BTS members to show up this year to boost their ratings. BTS certainly does not need them.

In the US the K-Pop world is mainly young girls who tend to Super Stan boy groups. Girl Groups just tend to not do as well. Taylor Swift and Beyoncé tend to rule the roost here.

Could be that the situations were different. One was bullying and the other not. SM also tends to side with the artist on most occasions. They don’t give into Netizen bullying so easily.
