I don't think i have ever seen anyone say Ive will flop but ok...
Someone even revived a thread from last year about Ive will losing their popularity or something like that just yesterday. There's a lot of threads like that too before Ive debuted especially when many people used to believe about that produce curse. There's a lot in reddit and twitter too.

The group just never destined to flop with Wonyoung in the group. I just realized how powerful Produce's center actually are. The exposure and popularity they get from their produce days actually really insane. It's on the another level from the other members in that group. Somi not even that active as a singer but she bags a lot of cfs and jobs while most of her fellow ex ioi members that more active than her didn't even getting as much offers as her. The other one is Daniel. He sold more than 300k for his solo album, get a lot of cfs, acting jobs and many more.
In ive, Wy c-fans alone buy more than 300k albums from their total sales. Idk why people even thinking a group with wy will flop. You can clearly see these 3 produce center all choose different path and all become really successful no matter what. It's really interesting how big the influence of this survival show before in kpop. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for Chaehyun.

Nope to both and I want parents to wake their kids up from this unrealistic dreams of being an idol if they end up being under really small company with no money. How actually parents let their kids to make this dumb decision tbh.

Domestically it is Rough, internationally it is hylt. Pyscho is big in Korea but not as big as Rough and obviously didn't stand a chance against hylt outside of Korea.

This question is from reddit.
"When it comes to 2nd gen covers there's a lot of SNSD and Wonder Girls, but 2NE1 who had as big hits (and were arguably bigger than both digitally with the public) I feel rarely ever get covered.
At SBS today it felt like a 2nd gen tribute but then for YG they used a BP song whilst SNSD/Wonder Girls/Kara were the other covers. Seemed an odd choice but is a running trend I've noticed over the years in which 2NE1 get ignored when it comes to tributes/covers.
Is it because there are a lack of groups that are similar to them so they're hard to cover?"
What do you think?

Obviously... Anyone who debuted under the big 3 will obviously be loved. They can even debuting Oli London and he will magically have tons of shooters.

I love Sakura, but she's no different from other idols like people tend to exaggerate. I know people say she is hardworking and has huge determination but I believe a lot of idols has that too but they just don't have a lot of chances like her.
For pd48, she already popular even in Korean because of her reputation in Japan and she and Jurina joining the show become the biggest headline before the show even started. Then in the show, Mnet's protagonist edits of Sakura becoming the Nekkoya center, along with her talking about how she lacks confidence and wants to work hard to improve must have helped her gain a solid fanbase early on. After the strong start, she hasn't really done anything to drive her fans away. We all know how people loves the redemption stories in produce series and Sakura hold that roles in pd48 where mnet shows how she improved. People loves her because of how relatable she is in that show not because she's the most talented one.
So in conclusion, she's just a normal idol. And no she can't outshine anyone in Lsf even if she wants like she did in izone because this concept is not her strength. Even in their choreograpgy performance where she's become the Hydra still Chaewon steals people attention. Kazuha and Yunjin trending and being the talk of the town, not her. And nothing wrong with it.

Something like you want your faves to achieve something or you hope for a change in kpop or whatever. Tbh I just want to ask about your biggest wishes in your life for 2023 but because this is akp forum so I just trying to keep it related to kpop, however feel free to share if you want to.

From what I see in kpop, non fans always the one who have a lot to say about the groups they don't even stan more than the fans of the group itself. Most of time, they even complaining about other groups' songs, concept, company, etc... more than they do to their faves.
In the end of the day, non fans is not a fans, they will contribute little or nothing to the group, so why the seems to care critiques more than the fans?

The show is just like a joke overall, like most of them is not even a good performers. It's weird when the other members all above 20 and suddenly they have one 11 years old kids with them that not even supposed to debut because her final ranking was 19.

better be a
multi stan or multi gen fan
after all each gen had good music and visual
you still can join fanwar or watch it on sideline 😅Yes, but it's just funny how we will see this each time the new generation start to rise. People will just recycling the same arguments every time.

The difference is, Ive's concept revolves around Wonyoung. We can see how well their concept suits her and Wy remains the main character in Ive, she pulling the concept the best in her group.
Meanwhile in Le sserafim, Yunjin and Chaewon is the embodiment of their concept, these two people are very suitable with the concept brought by Lesserafim so that they look very prominent compare to other members. Kazuha on the other hand is a dark horse who unexpectedly received a huge response from everyone including in Korea. So Sakura while improving her skills a lot, she didn't really stand out in a group full of people with strong charisma with this strong concept. I didn't say she didn't fit this concept but she fit the elegant and cute concept more.
