Hello! The title is pretty self-explanatory. I consider myself to be a pretty positive and happy person who loves to spread said positivity, so this thread made perfect sense for me to make. Who is a user on here that you like/appreciate and why? I'll start off with mine: Pikachu-Senpai . The first day I joined, I saw her post about the Christmas akorns and decided to take it. I expected it to be literally one or two, but it was 100, so I was VERY pleasantly surprised. Not only that, but she took the time to formally welcome me and answered some questions I had about how the site worked. Made me feel very welcome. 10/10 would recommend that experience. I might have more users I think of later, who knows. What about you guys? Have a great day/night!

"Lovesick Girls" because I remember when I used to feel that exact same way. Where being is love was hopeless and unrealistic, but I kept on looking for it. That and it's a good song in general. Have a great day/night!

As a fanfiction writer myself, I'll insert my opinion here. To the people who write idols doing it, JUST STOP! You're honestly a bit of a disgrace to the writers like myself who try to write about the idols doing normal things or being wholesome. Why? Because so many people assume that fanfiction writers only write smutty stuff and I hate that stereotype so much. I avoid that like the plague. The closest I ever get is cuddling. PLATONIC cuddling. Is it so hard for you horny people to stop there? Really? Shows your lack of self-control if anything. Some of you are talented writers. Use that talent to write actually good stuff, not waste it away by writing crap. Same goes for editing.
Now, I do sometimes find fanfiction about real people to be slightly weird, especially when it has a Y/N character (too far everyone, don't be that type of writer). That being said, I have read some really good fanfiction that never once felt weird to me at all. It all depends on the skill of the writer. If the writer is good enough to fully immerse me in their world, on some occasions I even forget I'm reading about real people. Maybe that's just my brain dying though, who knows?
Lastly, that does look like a comfortable napping position. Why do some people feel the need to ruin everything? Sorry I ranted for so long, but I have a lot of pent up, angry feeling about this and needed to vent them out. Have a great day/night!

BLACKPINK - Fall 2019 - I heard "Kill This Love" on a bus one day. I had no idea it was a K-Pop song and aside from "Gangham Style", had never heard any other K-Pop song before. I searched it up later, liked it and checked out more of their songs, which I also liked. I moved on a couple days later, only occasionally listening to one of their songs, no idea why. When quarantine hit where I live in March 2020, I became bored, so I researched more into BLACKPINK. They became the first group I stanned and are, to this day, the only group where I have listened to all of their songs (so far, I'll probably change that in the future). They'll always have a special place in my heart.
BTS - Late 2019 or Early 2020 - I knew BTS were popular, but hadn't heard of many of their songs, aside from the super, super popular ones (think "Boy With Luv"). I used to listen to a bunch of BP x BTS mashups on YouTube, which was how I discovered more BTS songs. I forget exactly when I started stanning BTS exactly, unfortunately. I've kind of drifted away from them a bit, but I still like them and their music. The second group I stanned.
Stray Kids - September or October 2020 - My most recently stanned group. Got into them pretty much right after God's Menu era ended. Discovered them because as I was watching a K-Pop reactor, a bunch of the comments were telling him to check out that song. As in literal dozens. I found it annoying and decided to ignore them. Later checked out the song due to my own curiosity and found out it was actually pretty good. Listened to more and more of their songs and liked them. Discovered "Chan's Room" and that was the final factor in me deciding to stan.
This is the very brief and surface level version for each group. I can go more in depth one day if you'd like me to. I also, of course, listen to literally dozens of groups casually, but just haven't stanned them yet out of laziness (Ateez, TWICE, Red Velvet, Mamamoo, Jessi, Somi, Chungha, Sunmi, WayV, NCT, SuperM, Aespa, Hyuna, IOI and more I'm sure I'm forgetting) but I plan to one day. Have a great day/night!

Sounds good. Glad we were able to reach an agreement. I look forward to continuing to do business with you. Until then, HaPpY holidays and have a greatday/night!

Sorry I'm late to this. I can't think of any for the guys, but DreamNote's Ghost deserved SO much better. It's such a good spooky song and the vocals on it are insane. DreamNote are so underrated in my opinion.

i don't know , she never made me think of hyunjin looking at her, and i still watch other picture of her with her hair in ponytail and don't look like hyunjin at all
but in this pic especially the eyes and lips remind me hyunjin
I completely see your point now. I don't stan Aespa and can't even tell the members or their voices apart, so I guess it makes sense why I would assume it was because of the ponytail. I don't know why or how, but I didn't even know she wore a ponytail besides in this picture before you mentioned it and I looked it up. I didn't think about the eyes and lips part at all. I can see that being a part of it now that you pointed it out. My brain is just being dumb today. HaPpY holidays and have a great day/night!

Oh my goodness, she does! She's stunning too. I guess why so many people, including me, see it is because of how she is holding her hair. Hyunjin sometimes wore his long hair in a ponytail and she is holding hers in a low ponytail. That and they both look good. HaPpY holidays and have a great day/night!

This is so cute! I used to do this type of thing a lot when I was younger, and I still do it sometimes. It was great. I once "politely vandalized" an area by sneakily writing on some whiteboards a bunch of compliments. It felt great. HaPpY holidays and have a great day/night!

I can't decide. I'll admit the error of my ways. I used to hate Loco, but now I realized it is great and I just wasn't ready for it. The clapping near the end just adds so much to it. Savage grew on me within two listens and the same goes for Pirate. Contrary to the opinions of many MY's, the "My Naevis, we love you" part was legendary and iconic. Sihyeon's pre-chorus in Pirate is what heaven must sound like as you enter it. It simply is that good. They're all so good. HaPpY holidays and have a great day/night!

I don't believe I've ever heard of her before. I feel so uncultured. Allow me a brief intermission to correct my transgressions. HaPpY holidays and have a great day/night!

Oh no! Not the lawyers! Guess I'll have to beat you and call my lawyers on you first for defamation of Mariah Carey. Unacceptable.

I mean, I would not be shocked if Minsung was announced to be official. Jisung already predicted it after all. I can't find the evidence, I'm sorry, but I think there was a V-Live moment where Jisung said that he wouldn't be surprised if him and Lee Know were announced on Dispatch on January 1st. It was golden.
(I don't ship Stray Kids, this is just a joke).
HaPpY holidays and have a great day/night!

Anyone else get annoyed by kpop fans extreme reactions to everyday things that happen in kpop?
"Idol A is PRAISED for helping member with Wardrobe malfunction."
"Idol B is CANCELLED for getting caught not following through on a dance move with 110% effort."
"Idol C is PRAISED for showing concern for a bodyguard safety."
"Idol D is CANCELLED for liking a BTS post on Instagram."
"Idol E is PRAISED for having his plane ticket ready in hand so he doesn't hold up the line at the airport."
"Idol F is CANCELLED for looking down while rubbing her eyes when the camera zoomed in on Kai during his performance at MAMA."
"Idol G is PRAISED for remembering to wipe his ass after the last shit he took in the company restroom."
"Idol H is CANCELLED for not standing up straight and bowing to oppa despite being in a wheelchair with 25 total broken bones after a horrible stage accident."
Fuck kpop fans.
I agree that sometimes K-Pop fans overreact to things. Take the recent ARMY v.s. James Cordon incident for example. That was a harmless joke in my opinion, and I took it as such. Yes, I know the stigma and I know how damaging it can be, but not everyone believes it. I think the criticism for idols B, D, F and H is too far, especially idol H.
As for the over praising, I don't seem to see it as that big of an issue in comparison to most K-Pop fans. I once heard that you shouldn't leave a compliment unsaid and if they want to praise an idol, let them. It's hurting no one and I don't find it annoying at all. Even if it is a small thing, the little things count. If anything, I think praising idols can let them know that we notice and appreciate the good that they do. Sometimes, it feels like, to me, kindness is not only expected as the default, but taken for granted instead of appreciated.
That all being said, idol G could live without that praise, that's just good hygiene, not kindness. Idol E is a grey area for me. It depends on how crowded the airport is as to how much it helps, and it is good to be prepared. Maybe point it out, but you don't have to necessarily praise it, unless you really want to. Idols A and C do deserve praise in my opinion. Idol A could have kept preforming as normal, which would have been more "professional", yet they chose to help out their bandmate, which was the right thing to do. No one forced or even told them to, so that choice was entirely theirs. Idol C showed respect towards the staff, which they should do, don't get me wrong, but I'm also sure there are plenty of idols who have been or are rude to the staff, so being nice to the staff must be a nice change of pace for the staff to experience.
For example, Felix making brownies and giving them to the staff (as well as his bandmates and other idols) deserves to be praised in my opinion. Not every idol would be willing to do that, yet he did, without being asked to or complaining (as far as I know, correct me if I'm wrong). Lastly, to me, just because something is repeated over and over does not mean it loses value. Just because people praise a lot is not what makes praise have or lose sincerity. What gives praise its sincerity is the way in which it is expressed and almost nothing else. Thank you for coming to my extensive Ted Talk. HaPpY holidays and have a great day/night!

Here, take these three Stray Kids bops. Don't know how to embed music videos yet, so I hope only having the links is fine. HaPpY holidays and have a great day/night!

That's funny because I was going to put Christmas EveL as well! Great minds think alike. I always liked the beat, but I used to not like the lyrics as a Christmas and Christmas song lover. Yes, I was that one person who put on Jingle Bells in the middle of July, sue me. The funny thing is that never once did I stop to think what Christmas EveL might be about based on the name. My mind just went: "Finally, my favorite group is releasing a Christmas song! I'm excited," so imagine the betrayal I felt reading the lyrics when the song dropped. It really shouldn't have surprised me, but it somehow did. I'm a clown now I guess. I still enjoyed the music video because of all the references and funny moments and the beat was good, so I just ignored the words.
After a couple listens, my perspective started to shift towards said lyrics. So many Christmas songs praise Christmas, but I have never heard before I song that openly dissed it. That was new. There are people who don't like Christmas, so now they can have a Christmas song just for them. Not only that, but the beat doesn't sound like what you would expect a Christmas song to sound like. It sounds like a Stray Kids type of song. Speaking of which, I also grew to like the lyrics because part of Stray Kids' brand, at least in the beginning, was rebelling and this song was rebelling against Christmas, so it felt more like them. Lastly, Lex's cover was so awesome, it helped the lyrics grow on me too.

Besides, at least they dropped 24 to 25 and Winter Falls for people that want a more traditional sounding Christmas song (in my opinion). Those are great songs too, but I think Christmas EveL is slightly better because it's more like them if that makes sense. HaPpY holidays and have a great day/night!

I'm so glad to hear that. I know they're both close and a part of the Thai line. Now all we're missing is dab dab and all the friends are here. HaPpY holidays and have a great day/night!
