I'm not entirely against Rocket Girl... 
Yeah, 4th gen is just not getting the hype except for maybe some groups. I just don't see the same hype for 4th gen groups that are debuting as there were for 3rd gen. One playing factor that there might be is that a large amount of 3rd gen groups still on the rise or peaking right now in comparison of 2nd gen groups during 3rd gen. Which probably takes away from newer groups. That, and that right now following trends seems to be bigger than ever. If I even bother to check out a 4th gen group they're usually like all the other ones I've seen (obviously kpop has always suffered from this but it's worse than ever). I won't even get into the variety aspect of things....
I think 2nd/3rd gen was definitely the peak for now and the idol industry is losing its relevance (this started happening with GP particularly some time in 3rd gen imo). Probably somewhere down the line, it will gain relevance again but I don't think it will for a while. Guess we'll see though!

Lovelyz in general doesn't get the recognition they deserve. They've had their hits but I don't hear much about them anymore sadly and I feel like their talent has never been fully appreciated

Most legendary of debut songs, all their music is great
honestly, I'd rather see a dozen review threads discussing the same song than the many many achievements threads clogging up the kpop section. At least the review threads are talking about the music. Can we shuttle the numbers talk somewhere else?
Agreed, they should make a numbers section for people who actually want to see it
I don't mind seeing it sometimes if I'm interested but the amount of threads made a day over numbers and achievements is ridiculous

I give each song a listen at least once though
I like choreography so I usually prefer performances. It takes a really cool MV for me to pick it over the performance version.
I think to solve this issue, new releases should have a general review thread where everyone can put their reviews and think pieces. When it's a bunch of separate threads as seen today, it devolves into trolling and bashing. While I do think making legitimate criticisms is a good thing, let's not kid ourselves that that's the only thing going on
Also it just clogs up the forum and is generally annoying for those of us who frankly just don't care that much to see the same topics on the same song with the same replies all over the forum. Especially when, as I said, the majority of it seems to be trolling

I decided to listen to the musical Xcalibur's songs and Seventeen's Dokyeom really impressed me. I always knew he was really talented vocally and considered him one of the best of 3rd gen but the amount of emotion he can put in his singing.. I hope to see him in more musicals and maybe even on the tv screen some day, I think his acting is pretty good even outside of his singing. I really feel like he doesn't get enough appreciation or recognition for the level of talent he has, I rarely see him being mentioned or truly discussed outside of carats

Hoshi's insane and also incredibly versatile. While it will be sad when Seventeen goes (hopefully far in the future), I'm excited to see how his solo career will go
