    Lurker and K/DA fan here. No, they aren't a traditional kpop group. But I think it's fair to call them a VIRTUAL kpop group. The members in real life won't partake in any special events or whatever. But there's lore surrounding the group which has the characters, particularly Ahri, go through the whole idol bizz. Regarding the music, I guess it's technically more western but the inclusion of Soyeon, Miyeon and Twice are enough to label it as kpop for me.


    I also believe that K/DA have grown to be something bigger than just a promotion for League- their latest comeback made that clear. K/DA grew to have a huge fanbase, and instead of just releasing another music video and dipping, they spanned their comeback over a few months. There was so much art, music, and videos released... Riot didn't have to go to this extent. It's being treated like a real life group and I think it's neat. Sorry for the rambling lol
