It doesn't work like that. Lovelyz' ah choo is a hit and it didn't peak high. Meanwhile destiny was it to 10 and it flopped. Also compared to 2016 when ggs were getting PAKs left and right, 4th generation girl groups are very lacking. The only outstanding hits which they released were latata and dumdi dumdi to some extent, and those are your average gg hits. Not as big as national hits ggs from previous generation released aka: Cheer up , TT, DDDD, Me Gustas Tu, Rough, Red Flavor

Why does it matter who they were behind when last year was very lacking in terms of idol hits

^ If ITZY and GIDLE are the "Big" ggs of this generation, I'd have to say this generation is very lacking in terms of charting tbf. Those groups released like a hit or 2 and are charting very average compared to tops group from previous generations.

On the topic, Aespa does have the potential. It's an SM group after all so not like that would be a huge shock. That kinda makes Kpop boring for those of us who watched generations passed by tbh.. You'd need to wait for other rivals to debut though. Who would have thought JYP's girl group would end up being more famous than SM's and referred to as nation's gg when Red Velvet and Twice hadn't debuted yet? Everyone was acting as if JYP is doomed and out of big 3.

I don't see ITZY having the potential to be bigger than they currently are, their doing well but not really "leading" level. I'd wait for YG and Big Hit/Source Music (or whatever they are called now) to debut their ggs. If Sakura has joined big hit, i'd say their gg has crazy potential.

She looks good but nothing close to a goddess level female idol based on Korean standards. Irene was there so Koreans chose her, but even if Irene wasn't an RV member, not like like it would make a difference??? Koreans aren't forced to choose a girl to be their beloved it-girl from Red Velvet. It's not like the is a shortage of pretty girls out there? Bunch of groups end up famous without having an outstanding member in that terms. Koreans would go look for some other girl from other group. Oh My Girl's Arin per say, has more potential than her considering the response she has been getting since 2019.

All I know about them or America in general is through vlogs and movies. But the way the shows "Friends" and "How I met your mother" portrayed New York make it seem so interesting specially for young people. I grew an obsession with NYC and I really would love to have a chance to live there at least a bit.

"Science" in general can be trusted I would say, but I think politics try to stop some info from being released. For example the fact that people from certain nations have lower IQ in general, specially those in less progressed countries, is kinda offensive. Or that the COVID-19 virus was probably invented in a lab with certain intensions by Chinese scientists, but their government has bribed WHO to deny that because it will end up ugly for Asians.

Cause of her work back as she was in Italy she learned Swedish cause they had a lot Swedish customer and in Spain she begun to learn Portugese cause "it's similiar so I wanted to figure out how fast I can learn it". A few months later she got bored and said she begun to learn Polish and Czech too. Oh and she had French in School too

So she speaks now German, English, French, Spanish, Portugese, Italian, Dutch, Czech, Swedish and Polish

Wow, she's so lucky.... yet we are stuck with just 2 languages for years.

Whenever such threads are made on forums, people list like 4+ languages and it gets me shocked lol
