About 15 months since the last Circle Observation Notes update.

#1 song is under 20M points this week. Music consumption is at an all time low globally...Hot 100 #1 this week is expected to be the weakest ever based on raw points.

Surprised no one noticed that it's rainy season in Korea right now, and they are having major flooding. We all should know by now uls take a hit when it rains.

Anyone noticed ED,EM is almost out of Melon Daily Top 100?

Why is it dropping so quickly?

I really thought SD would have exited first but I guess she'll soon start to increase the gap for consecutive days charting in the Top 100.

It might be just purely 'streaming volume' data, but given how they present the domestic chart, I'm not convinced.

Billboard doesn't weigh streams & downloads for the Global 200 + Global 200 Excl. US charts, it all 1:1.

And based on the data they've revealed on pass #1's, looks like they only use filtered streaming numbers.

So they will most likely be using Melon Daily ULs.

Not like it would contribute much but im surprised they got approved before the bigger services...maybe Melon & Genie doesn't want to give Billboard their data?

The Latest Hits (4 Week) Chart is the first chart you see when you open the Melon app not the Top 100 Chart, so visibility there helps songs a lot.

Korean Streaming Services have said in the past that most users usually opens the app and play the first 2 or 3 song on the chart, Melon made the 4 week chart its default to make the charts more active compared to when 24Hits led to stagnation.

When their company merged Kitsch into the album on its release day, they changed Kitsch's release date to the date the album was released (23.04.10), so it should get another 4 weeks on the chart and exit the same time as I AM.

btw IU isn't tagged properly on MelOn (yet?)...so none of her followers would have gotten a notif. that a song she is on has been release.

It's gonna need some promo to take of and stabilize

Isn't that how it works? Labels create Artists profiles on streaming sites and they upload and edit the music they post.

K-Armys were spamming Big Hit to merge BTS' duplicates better because it keeps splitting their streams & uls, which affects their ranks.
