I'm just going to take this as a sign that girl groups as a whole are on the rise...

The only real issue with this being a superm 2.0 is that I don't think they have enough willing participants from the older girl groups.

I've always held the opinion that SM is out to subtly sabotage rv's album sale numbers, so having every single member debut solo right before a group comeback fits 100% into the narrative I've created.

My 2021 wish has been to see more girl groups thriving and for the most part it's been coming true. I can't wait for 2021 to be a year of good music from women!

Hot Issue are a 7 member group debuting under a new company called S2 Entertainment. S2 Entertainment was founded by the former founder of Cube Entertainment.

They will be debuting with a mini album titled "Issue Maker"

Rumour has it that they'll have 2 comebacks in 2021 with at least one more mini.

rv will definitely have another comeback - no matter how spiteful sm are, they can't deny the money rv brings in just by touring and releasing music. It's just a question of how much support they'll be getting from sm through that comeback. I hope they get a few weeks on music shows and variety show appearances because those two areas are where sm shortchanges groups once they get older.

I think that Hwasa leaving would only make sense if she were getting solo offers that she wasn't allowed to take up. This doesn't seem to be the case so better the devil you know than the devil you don't. She'll have a better chance negotiating a higher cut and more creative freedom with rbw than if she started all over again somewhere else.

I don't mind the English version at all. The overall feel is similar to the original version and just as I was thinking to praise jype for that, I realized that the pacing is similar because of how much English is actually already in the original.

This is probably not coincidental so I can see them either having periodic English only albums of the titles or adding the title in English for all comeback albums going forward.
