I don't listen to alot of groups from "2nd gen" but of the ones I have heard 'Roly Poly' by T-ara has stuck in my head since the first listen.
I don't know if it was released before 2012 or not but I know T-ara are from that "generation".
There are many factors and some of them have already been mentioned here. But I'll say it mostly depends on fans.
I'll tell you what people like me do as I have noticed this with many of my colleagues. I am working or attending classes for 12-16 hrs of a day so I don't get time to watch literally anything. So most of my music or books or entertainment consumption is through audio streaming platforms like Spotify, AM, etc.
The fans who have enough free time preferably use YT or video streaming platforms while those who don't, preferably use audio streaming platforms.
The conclusion is I think most blinks are more like former than later. That's why the results.
I mean it is the highest charting group song on Melon year end chart for 2019 & 2020 and one of the songs in top 10 of gallups for two consecutive years.
Blinks on akp are the most edgy people I have seen on the whole internet (since this revamp).

1. Most k-pop fans are teenagers and people in their early 20's. This means most of them are virgin which is a huge factor for the music the kpop groups produce.
2. Most gg fans are Male who are not confident about their sexuality and want to keep the image of masculinity before society.
3. Most bg fans are Female who tend to be jealous of successful women.
4. Most gg fans also have this agenda of feminism so if they stan a bg, it will make them look fake.
Point 1, 2, 4 are for why gg fans don't stan bgs.
Point 1, 3 are for why bg fans don't stan ggs.

I am ARMY but not a guild member as I didn't know this existed till a few days back so I bookmarked it and came here today to have a look at the section and saw that it is not as active as other fandoms guilds which is a huge surprise for me.
So enlighten me if the guild is temporarily closed or what like the old forum.

If we are talking about physical attraction then I am atleast 8 if not more.
I have got so many compliments over the years saying I have close to perfect nose if not for my nostrils and I think I have the best lips a guy can have.
Physically I have always been fit (tall, strong, athletic). And I am the most hygienic human being I know except my father.
The only thing that keeps me away from rating myself 10 is that I don't look as good with beard. I don't look bad. It's just that I don't look as good.

k-pop fans who never stanned them keep blaming TS and ignore that B.A.P fans themselves didn't stick with their faves. Why do everyone think they would have succeeded? Even their fans didn't like them enough.
Another thing is that BTS succeeded because they have RM, Jin, Suga, Jhope, Jimin, V, Jungkook. We like these people and music produced by them. Do B.A.P have these people? No I guess. So yeah they wouldn't be successful enough as them.
I have heard almost all title tracks from B.A.P just because most of you talk about them like they are so good and tbh I only liked 4 of them. So I didn't listened to their other songs.
ALL IN ALL YES BTS is better than B.A.P.
Suggestions : Compare them with Exo as they were active at almost same time. And they ween't even close to Exo (success, impact and music) so let alone BTS.
It is not wrong to say it but it is wrong to compare it and complain about newer stuff. Just because your mind is not flexible enough to adjust for newer direction, doesn't mean it is bad.
I think people only have problem when these kids want to act like oldies and say "old is gold" just because they can't move on (same like other kpop fights). Stop complaining (I mean talk about old stuff all you want but do it without ridiculing new) and you'll see that no one is pressed.
Selling 2m physicals is no joke. It is difficult for worldwide known american artists to do so nowadays since it's digitals era.
Among korean artists, no other artist than BTS have done that since 2000 (the time when physicals were the only source of music). If the physical monsters like Exo, g.o.d, H.O.T, etc. couldn't sell 2m with one album, I don't expect any of the current groups to sell that much as well.
Yeah if they include those repackages to the count, someone might but no one other than kpop fans use that logic. So yeah my answer is nobody.
