yea maybe there are kids that forced to enter this idol world,
but you also must consider those who dreamed to become an idol.
those kids whom chasing their dream and passion, would you stop them and tell them to go to college instead??these are kids. they don't always know the best for them which is why you have parents. and it doesn't have to be college, it can be trading school, having licenses to be instructors, all that.
same question of forcing kids to college. why corner them out in only one career path of being an idol if their teens and early 20s are burned up on only training?

and it only gets harder for the groups as they grow older. like i legit feel as if groups i dont stan is so dated and old i feel bad about thinking like that
at this point, it's going to be just more cutthroat and we'll have top 5 groups die out in their 3rd yearso don't let idols only have idol life. let them go to college first or have something else. cause this shit is burning up way too fast to finance the rest of their lives after their peak.
they've all worked hard. just bc other kpop idols thrived debuting at 13 doesn't mean it has to be this way. feeling so sad (not only) for the young class:y members.

Everything you said also applies to Dreamcatcher.
Unfortunately neither of them have a win on MCountdown, which was one of the qualifications to get on Queendom, and I don't think that changed for Queendom 2.
I'm also not saying that Kep1er shouldn't be there, but that it would have been really great for either Everglow or Dreamcatcher
YUP if it were dreamcatcher instead of kep1er i wouldn't make this thread
but in terms for chances of success, dreamcatcher has been building a solid fanbase, even with less gp recognition, as compared to everglow with a lackluster fanbase and heavily declining gp attention
by urgency, i just think everglow needs to be there
also dreamcatcher doesn't have a music show win yet, right? -

hear me out, assuming that kep1er wasn't an mnet group and maybe the spot was like a road to kingdom thing, I think everglow deserves the spot better
for a few reasons:-
more hit songs -> granted, they're declining but they have had multiple hits like dundun, adios, and bonbon chocolat while also bagging music show wins (+this is also a win for queendom in general because wadada and mvsk as songs were boring
) - better performances -> kep1er is talented, but for now they've been a hot mess simply because of the lack of budget and general cohesion since they aren't very experienced yet but also gp999 didn't teach them shit and only emotionally manipulated them

chances for success -> kep1er has so much more in store for them, everglow needs the push for them especially now
i think they can be the (g)-idle for the season
everglow would have done great in queendom if given the opportunity, kep1er would have done well regardless

I think differently. The oversaturation of KPOP (that means too many choices) will make KPOP fans demand for something familiar. So while I still don't agree it's overexposure (also IVE are rookies and wonyoung's push gave them so many sales and brand rep + int fanbase) given that Sakura and Chaewon were silent for a year, they'll do great!
