MHJ isnt special. newjeans concept wasnt created in a vacum. she took inspiration from western artists and now other kpop groups are taking insipration from newjeans. that just how kpop works

I mean, I understand her mindset. She thought for so long that what she created with new jeans was special, completely her own, never been done before. I bet she probably felt that she was irreplaceable, and they just showed her that they could create 10 new jeans in a heartbeat, and she lost it...

now, I do agree that Illit's concept is adjacent to Newjeans. it's just fresh enough that it feels different but similar enough that it's still familiar. it's not like anything newjeans have ever done before but it feels like something they could have done. a sound they could have easily explored and no one would say they developed a totaly new sound... it feels like a newjeans comback.

MHJ prob didnt like that. but thats just kpop.

Hybe doesnt need her anymore. everyone's replacable for a big company like hybe

well now I'm not sure... they've shown that they can easily recreate newjeans success... so who knows

honestly vma awards aren't anything special. it's just nice to see bp perform. don't get all the discourse over who's winning what when the vmas is clearly just using kpop for veiws. I don't even bother voting for stuff like that
