1. OMG
2. Hype Boy
3. Cookie (specifically the Bad Cookie remix on YouTube. Go listen to it!)
Super Shy is growing on me heavy though, it might replace Cookie

My question is, would the kpop community still feel the same way towards JYP groups releases if they were doing well on the charts?
Part of me thinks that we let our perception be effected by “success” and charting too much.
SNSD were absolutely eeeeverything in Kpop back in 2009! My first bias group!
Prayer circle for VMAs rumor to be true
Display MoreAccording to rumors, pre-orders will start on August 11.
I'm putting other rumors in spoilers, just for those who want to know.
There will be MV for all his songs! Visual album is coming!
Pre-release date August 11 - Track name: Rainy Days
Possible track list: Blue, For us, Love me again, Rainy days, Slow dancing. Slow dancing has also piano version (and is the longest 03:07)
This is possible track list meaning it might not be the final one as new songs can be added/some songs are not ready for upload yet.
Winter Bear, Snow Flower and Scenery (will be titled as Wonder) are prepared to be uploaded to Spotify.
Those song titles sound soooo on-brand for him
wish maknae line were able to release full albums, but it is what it is.
“OMG” is truly iconic. Many K-pop fans, including Tokkis, underestimate just how popular this song is. I have video recordings of me hearing it randomly at places like the gym and restaurants. It followed me everywhere earlier this year.
It’s rewarding to see them feed off the crowd’s energy, fueling their stage presence.
Feeling validated as someone with OMG as my fav NewJeans song. I feel like Ditto gets way more flowers from kpop stans.
And wow, the crowd seemed soooo into their set. They were screaming every word! If you had any doubts NewJeans is a force to be reckoned with, they were safely obliterated.
congratulations, new queens!
Ice Cream has about 2 bars in Korean, 80% of the song is in English and it has a western feature to boot. The song was made to be their official foray into the U.S. market.
I agree, the BH team sucks ass, so I am glad Tae has looked outside BH but within Hybe.
Yeah…no offense to BigHit stans, but I’ve found their aesthetics and musical choices pretty boring for a while now.
I’m glad JK hooked up with western producers outside HYBE and was really happy with the results (Seven song + Mv) and I’m glad now that Taehyung is hooking up with someone with more gas in their creative tank.
if that guy never produced another BTS song, I would be overjoyed
I’m curious to see what kinda concepts she’ll give a male artist. Say what you want about her, but I think she has the best creative team working in k-pop today.
Just give us a whole album and I think we will all collectively lose it lol. Right now we are only working with six songs, three of which are still charting in some capacity.
It’s mind blowing actually how much hype he generated from his measly solo discography. He (and the other members) deserved a full length album of 12-15 tracks, with an extended rollout and good promo.
As it is, I can hardly wait knowing that Seven era is essentially over.
I’m not sure his next single will necessarily top Seven’s numbers, because let’s face it, none of us were expecting it to smash as hard as it did, but I do think it will be very successful. The album will sell lots of physicals and most likely break some streaming records too (if BigHit doesn’t mess it up somehow).
One thing I can say for sure is that his antis will not have a fun time. They’ve been kicking and screaming this much from just a cute little single, can you imagine the reaction to a smash hit album??
Maybe they have one billionaire otaku super fan who’s buying hundreds of thousands of copies
