They all pay more homage to the spirit of actual rap than whatever passes for "rap" here in the US.

I've said it many times. I'm more worried about the inevitable civil war that will happen regardless of how well Rose does.

If she does amazing and outcharts and outsells Jennie, Jennifers will resent it when Rosenators start bragging and boasting.

If she doesn't do as well as Solo did, Jennifers will be the ones shading and bragging while Rosenators will be furious, claiming that OT3 Blinks are boycotting and not contributing to the debut.

Shading Kpop idols for no talent or being manufactured when you're stanning whole ass American industry plants who cant sing, cant dance, and cant rap like Billie Eilish or Yung Ninja or Yung Blender or Li'l Drip or whatever mumble rapper is "in" right now. Some of the most nugu idols probably can outsing, outdance, and even outrap your faves lol.

Pretending your faves are not Kpop when they're literally the very embodiment of Kpop (usually Army).

Claiming you're a "casual listener" instead of just admitting the truth - you're at the very least a fan of a group's music.

Thinking GP recognition means anything. Nobody cares about that, idols and labels only care about one thing. GROWING THEIR FANDOM.

I think they paved the way for TXT and Enhypen. Maybe NCT and SKZ and Monsta X's outreach efforts into the US.

Kpop was here and thriving long before BTS and BP arrived. Kpop will be just fine when they disband.

Has this album repackage been mentioned by anyone before? I saw the news articles about Rose and Lisa's solos but i never once read anything about a repackage? It makes sense to milk Blinks with a repackage i guess lol but i never read anything about it.

I predicted Valentines Day for the solo release. Also that we would get a teaser in The Show. I think Rose might say a few words about it, maybe give away the title of the title song or even play a few chords on the guitar and sing a bit of it.

Personally, i dont buy that the COVID lockdown was the only reason why the Show was delayed. I think BP added some things for the concert and needed more time to prepare. We'll get new choreo and new versions of old favorites. If we're lucky, Rose might even sing an extended cut of a B side (saving the title track for the actual release).

To me it sounds so much better.

The song was SO MUCH BETTER as a dark and moody mid tempo banger, but JYP idiotically and inexplicably turned it into a superfast dance song with a screaming high chorus with notes that no one on Earth can hit while doing the choreo.

Look how amazing this beat sounds in the teasers.

She's cute with minimal/no makeup and can look like a living doll with makeup. Her best physical quality though are her insane body proportions. Long legs, long arms, waist to hip ratio just all great.

Soyeon, plus several others like Jenlisa, SKZ rapline and Yoongi are the top tier when it comes to rappers. It's sad when random Korean idols 5000 miles away are more true to the spirit of original rap than locals. Rap is and always shall be LYRICAL.

Wut? Their album is literally a top 10 album in the US, and they've charted 5 songs already in the Hot 100 including a peak of 13. Ice Cream stayed around a lot longer than every BTS song in the Hot100 except for Dyna IIRC.

I was all set to shade this but ngl, the rap was smooth. His flow kinda reminded me of slam poetry.
