only? hwang in yeop had no leading roles, he acted in two tiny web dramas, had 2 supporting roles, and this was his first main role. he was never the lead. he had only 4 projects prior to this casting and you're saying "only". this rookie actor, and he's the definition of rookie, outacted eunwoo in every possible way.

Inyeop is a full-time actor, and all his roles minus one so far have been a variation on the same theme as Seojun. The role wasn't particularly difficult either, and it's entirely debatable who out-acted who.

Meanwhile, Eunwoo - who I thought did very well in True Beauty - juggles being an idol full-time alongside acting. He's been the lead in three dramas so far, and he did indeed get plenty of positive response for Suho from Korean media outlets.

And people here talk about playing in your own league, but they're criticizing Eunwoo's performance in a teen drama like it was meant to be Oscar bait. That's the little league, what's the problem? He was the first one they cast, so clearly they were happy with him and built the rest of the cast around him.

eunwoo always plays the same role which is also how he behaves in real life

and people like him for his looks and personality so its a given they will like the characters he plays too

    weird, but it works

MIIGB and True Beauty are honestly very different from his real life personality. Just check the behind the scenes for True Beauty for proof, but you can see it in his Master In The House episodes too:

I would say that, aside from genuinely improving his skills in every role, he selects dramas with widely appealing messages and plays roles that are Ride Or Die Boyfriends who will of course expand his fanbase.
