Yes, really big flop song. It is the most liked kpop solo MV after Gangnam Style
I love how antis have changed the goalposts so much that anything other than BTS level success is flopping
Queen is unstoppable!

She used the peace sign to cover up what she is because Cube still does not want her admitting to be Bi, but she has made numerous tik toks about her love for Women and then within a couple days they vanish
It must be so daunting and scary to be part of the LGBT community and an idol. It would be hard to admit. The queerbaiting and fan service doesn't negate how homophobic Korea is, in fact it enforces it in some ways.
My girls!!
Cute right?
Its cool.
But for the level of ability she has, none of it was shown in her own songs. She is mostly known for dancing so its just a little dissapointing
That is where I am at. Don't get me wrong, its cool and I enjoyed it. But she can do more. I hope we have some stages for it because her performance will be ace.
Display MoreLast year some NCT fans made a plan to target the English speaking members (Johnny, Ten, Mark, and Yangyang) to "educate" them about CA after Hendery wore a wig with dreadlocks. None of the members were they were planning to talk to were involved and as far as I know only poor Yangyang got one of them. It was awkward as hell because it's a fansign. They're supposed to happily chat with you about what movies they like or something, not be made super uncomfortable about something that doesn't involve them or they can't really address.
Someone found the person who did it on Twitter later and she posted tweets about how proud she was that YY seemed to understand, but then said she was nervous about talking about it because she didn't even understand why people were upset.
Like have several seats, lady. I agree that things need to be addressed at times, but in an appropriate setting and by someone who is informed about the issue themselves.
I think I remember reading about it now actually. Damn, poor YangYang. Honestly, I am not saying some idols haven't done bad things but fans who take it upon themselves to "educate" someone just want to feel superior. I hope the same doesn't happen to Lisa.
It happens sometimes at Cons for TV shows and films too... some people just aren't appropriate.
This is cute! Who didn't fall for Lisa when watching it?
The saddest part is the member they "educated" wasn't even part of it and then later on the fan admitted to not even understand the concept she was supposedly educating them about.
What happened?
I like some of it, but some of it could have gone harder. Honestly, as a main dancer Lisa has always been given the bare minimum. No dance break, often at the back or side of choreo..
I can give them a pass on the choreo not being great for the group as you have to make sure all the members can do it and the levels of dance ability vary, like with all groups, but there is no excuse for Lisa herself not to have epic choreo.
I hope they dont... the cringe
Reminds me of another idol that was being "educated" by their fans in fansigns
Oh god, I hope fans don't mention it to her
Its clear they never wanted to give them all solos, and only did because of fan demand. Hence why it was so long after the first! But at least Rosé was promoted properly..
Love this! Her moves are so effortless!
Let's hope YG actually makes the main dance front and centre of their choreo for once
All the people excusing it.. not surprised!
Just look at the difference in reaction to Chaennie possibly getting western collabs with the DJ Snake collab.. people begging for it to be the whole group
It's just that tired, sexist narrative about how if teenage girls are a large part of a fandom then it is something to be mocked.
BTS have fans of all ages anyway, but that's not the point.
1. People are jealous. She is the most popular member in the group, and her solo broke all previous records, including by her band members. They can't deal with it. If she flopped then no female succeeded!
2. She is Thai. SEA are often treated really badly in SK. The racist things said about her are gross and so dehumanising. This solo has further proved she is treated differently by her own company.
The fact the Blink fandom is a huge part of the hate she gets is just depressing. The double standards are vile. Just look at the reaction to the Ozuna collab rumoured to be Lisa compared to the rumours that Chaennie will either have a sub unit or western collab each.
It's really weird and I don't think her shyness has something to do with it. The MCs are a treasure member and two young rookies, one of them a big fangirl of Lisa. If anything they would be more nervous than her and isn't like she has more experience doing interviews all these years.
Then not getting a second performance just sealed it for me. We don't know if she will promote this week yet, right? But m countdown is cancelled and I don't have much faith on the other shows, especially now that her chances of winning are low and she lost in Show Champion just because of zero broadcast points, meaning it's just YG's fault for not promoting her
Lisa is actually very confident and chatty when giving the chance. YG has done her dirty at every step. For other members they even releases guides on how to vote for stuff. Her breaking records doesn't mean she doesn't need promo. Quite the opposite actually.
Nah, there's no excuses
I follow other groups with way less popularity but I can actually see their labels trying and booking them gigs on american shows, english content for ifans AND promos in Korea, yet one of the most powerful companies can't book music shows or a knowing bros appearance for one of their biggest act ever? I watched Inkigayo and for her debut stage Lisa didn't even get an interview or b-side full performance while even small groups get one....
Yep. Never seen a soloist treated this badly, let alone the most popular member from a huge girl group like BP.
