And I don't mean from the start of their debut - just any 2 or 3 years.

I can't imagine other groups disbanding after less than four years and being considered legendary.
-
They all debuted in the same era but they are deemed a tier below the other 2 and I'm not sure why
-
I hope so
-
They did Japanese tours becuz the Korean market was down
-
It was Shinhwa actually, but they got the hate bc of it. xD
If youtube existed in 2001, ifans would be drooling over them

nice video. I wish koreans did that for all generations

why u asking a question u already know the answer to?
Yeah, BTS. There could be other groups as well.
-
Who is so dominant that there was a huge gap with 2nd place?
-
-

Tvxq, SNSD, bigbang, 2ne1, super junior etc.

It's okay if they not know it, but it's not okay to mock their achievement. Sorry if I'm wrong, but I yet to see 2nd gen fans mock 1st gen group achievement & effort.
Maybe not on AKP but it happened on one hallyu

You nailed it imo

BTS flopped at singing in Chinese but I understand that, the language is so hard

lemme do big bang since some uninformed peeps on here think they're so irrelevant
they were the first idol group to:
have a lightstick
release mini albums
have an underground rapper turned idol (top)
win an international award
dye hair a somewhat crazy or not natural color before comeback
This is all true. Bigbang, the first hip hop/idol group in kpop history.
