i think each company has its pro and cons but as much as yg pays you better, majority of the time their groups are put into hiatus which stunts their growth and not everybody can be as lucky as big bang or bp. i would add jyp too because they usually stunt their idol's individual growth but if your group has good sales and touring power, at least you will earn money off of that.

From worst to best:
JYPE: There's a reason no one wants to re-sign with JYPE when the contract is up
HYBE: Glam and Gfriend's situations are still big red flags but we can not say much now because they have just debuted their own GGs this year.
YG: Great solo careers but seems neglecting on the music aspect. So for those that are just interested in music and not fashion, it could be hard.
SM: Good home for a stable career. Their female soloists are promoted well with a few exceptions but still better than other companies in general.

i misread the thread as it's in regard to female idols so my answer was about female idols' solo careers specifically. For male idols, it's a bit different but not by much so my ranking remains the same.

So basically i decide to debut with hybe and jyp and risk to be sexualize
Or i debut with Yg and risk to be everything else than being an idol for years
So yeah the choice is not so hard personally
who in Hybe is sexualize? They wont even let their bg wear anything too revealing until tney reach a certain age.

This may help them decide. It is important to know how they treat their artists.
In case you hadn't caught up, this was proven to be fake news ages ago, with the original source of it just some random anonymous internet person, no real sources or actual proof.
And like with all fake news and lots of people still believing Covid was a haux, some gullible people and ifans didn't factcheck and kept believing this even if was proven to be fake news many times ages ago.

I never thought about it before but kpop trainees have quite grim pickings really...
I'd like to train at YG because good dorms, good training, no debt, etc, but then when my trainee contract was up I would take my YG trainee kudos to another company so I could actually debut.
SM seem to be the real dungeon holders with their loophole contracts, JYP serve up cruddy music if you're not Twice, and HYBE have gone full middle aged male gaze with Lesserafim, so... I'd prefer Happyface or Starship but I guess JYP if I had to.

That changes yearly
Based on last year and this year:
If I was a male idol, I would go for HYBE, cause YG and JYP currently tank. If I were to be added to NCT SM would be last too, their new BG is a risk so the safer choice is HYBE.
If I was a female idol, I would go with SM or HYBE if its under the better agencies,(aka BigHit and ADOR). If under Pledis or Belift I would not.
YG would be my last, JYP also a no because recently they tank.

SM might be best to debut in. You'll get plenty of solo career opportunities within the music scene but also outside of it, your group will always do fine to great. And SM have the most of their artists renewing their contracts, and even after renewal they're able to progress their careers.
There is no worst company to debut in. After SM, it's still good to debut in HYBE, JYP and YG as long as you'll be aware what the shortcomings are of each company and are able to stomach them.
