It's no coincidence that 4th generation only started dominating after Izone was destroyed. Their disbandment opened the floodgates for 4th gen supremacy.

March 2020 was Izone's defacto disbandment, their last activity as a group.

April 2020, StayC got their first big hit with ASAP and later hit it big with Run2U.

May 2020, Aespa got their big break with national hit Next Level and then their first PAKs with Savage.

Dec 2020, Ive demolished everyone with their hit Eleven using the Korean popularity of Wonyoung and they followed it with even bigger hit Love Dive.

Jan 2021, Yena smashed her debut with top 10 hit Smiley.

March 2021, Gidle got their breakthrough megahit Tomboy.

Lesserafrim, NMIXX, Kepler still got plenty of time to come up with their own hits as well, and they still make waves with their fandom power.

I've seen a lot of folks discounting Izone's impact recently, taking little shots at them . But the truth is, Izone paved the way for all your 4th gen faves, they sacrificed themselves so your faves could run, never forget it .

As for Izone members specifically, where are Minju's bigtime acting roles that Urban was gonna line up for her? Music Core is a 1 day per week gig and she has her other YT beauty show that's once a week. When are we gonna see her in the next hit Kdrama or Netflix show? Yena, Eunbi, Yuri, Nako, Hyewon, even Chaeyeon have gotten at least the bare minimum acting jobs to get some practice and build their acting creds.

I've seen Wiz*Ones saying that she's just being picky and just waiting for the right major roll offer to come around. I think they're high on copium. Girl needs to get real-life acting practice and take smaller rolls if needs be to get her name out there. Urban is just managing her poorly

Totally. Acting is just as cutthroat as Kpop,I love Minju's personality and fanservice, and she's obviously a crazy high tier visual but Seoul must be littered with countless thousands of equally pretty hopeful actresses fighting tooth and nail for any kinda break. And who can forget what happened to Kriesha Chu, she literally disappeared.

Urban kept telling us that Minju rejected Hybe's offer because of her passion for acting. LET'S SEE HER ACT FFS, URBANWORKS GET OFF YOUR BUTT.

Turned out better for both post-ioi and post-wanna one members who went solo than the ones who redebuted in new groups. Eunbi is also turning 27 this year and Yena 23, so they're a little old to redebut in groups.

Chaeyeon and minju wait their carrer but i feel than they will desespered of their carrers

They re really sad cause they love izone members much

so proud of our girls, I feel companies somewhat learned from I.O.I when it comes to managing post-produce idols, or at least I hope so. I'll always be sad iz*one had to disband, but seeing the girls exploring their careers makes it less sad
