Most of this behaviour is driven by the internet providing anonymity to loosers. It's not exclusive to k-pop fans either.

i really, really don't. like its actually fascinating to me that this is something that's just okay to them. like i was raised (fortunately) to like never ever think this way or act this way bored or not but people not understanding their careless words can go a long way is just disappointing.

no, not at all. i think most of it is because of the moderation here. i know its harsh with places with little to no moderation but either im not using those sites, or i never engage in places where i would see it.

You give people here too much credit there's quite a few people engaging in or condoning this behavior in other threads about this. There's abit of enabling of it here i see people get banned for making a stupid post nor saying the R word but go off and bash/ cyber bully people into depression or death and nothing happens to you. Like I said before hypocrites are worse than scum worse than the dirt beneath the worms

some backlash was expected he is an older idol and should be aware that his actions bring consequences. Not everyone knows he is a bit eccentric or whatever or gonna get his weird sense of humor. I'm sure anyone knows how toxic blinks can be (unfortunately) and honestly from an outside perspective looking in it seems he was being a bit shady towards blackpink. Having said that I don't condone this kind of behavior no one deserves to get harassed and get death threats.
