Once most popular 3rd gen groups disband can you still see yourself liking kpop? I think kpop will get less popular once groups like blackpink, bts, twice, exo etc disband because those fandoms take up most of the whole kpop fandom, I mean do you see people on allkpop talking about anyone else other than bts or blackpink and if people talk about 4th gen it's either hate or "so and so is the next leaders of 4th gen".
Can you see yourself still liking kpop once 3rd gen groups disband?

I can see myself liking kpop but idk if i will as invested
-
-
I've entered into k-pop through 4th gen groups so I mostly won't mind 3rd gen groups disbanding.
-
i dont see myself leaving kpop tbh
-
and yet people said the same thing about the 2nd when the 3rd gen came
and the 1st gen when the 2gen came...
-
Ya maybe.

I'm not invested in just one generation. If I start seeing some of the same issues pop back up I'll be disappointed and frustrated all over again. I would like K-Pop to be taken more seriously, especially in the West. That won't happen if the agencies aren't learning from the mistakes made in previous years.
-
Yes 4th gen is getting interesting! It's more tense than 3rd gen and I'm still waiting on YGngg (and kinda Bhit ngg)
-
-
Yes
I like 4th gen groups
-
if there's good music being released then yeah
-
As of right now, I have high hopes for Aespa and Purple Kiss to satiate my thirst after Red Velvet and Mamamoo disband.
-
I didnt think so, i thought my love for Kpop would end after Twice and BP disband, but i've really gotten into a lot of 4th gen groups plus a few soloists also.
-
if I can find a liking in new group, maybe
right now ? , no
-
A lot of third gen stans will stay. Even if groups disband their faves will still be promoting as soloists, actors, variety stars etc.
-
Maybe, though 4th gen feels really similar to 3rd gen with different things it doesn't feel like they are the like the new versions of them, so it depends.
-
Casually, I guess.
But even if most of 3rd Gen stans leave, the 4th Gen stans will rise.
-
Yes! I'll eventually take a liking to other groups
-
-
-
-
(Especially considering that I've been listening to some of the latest K-pop songs lately ...)
-
-
It's not about the "gen" thing. It's about the music, imo.
-
I'm also not tied to a particular generation.
-
I don't think I will. Maybe still trapped in the past
-
most of my stans are still going, even if some of the groups disband they still are doing solo stuff. Dumb reason to leave.
-
No
-
-
-
-
Yeah I told myself I would stop when the second gen come but then the 3rd Gen come and I told myself again after this I will stop. Now guess what I already stand some 4th gen group
-
I mean I like K-pop for it's music, and I don't really care about a specific generation of K-pop.
-
-
Yeah, generational separations are kinda arbitrary anyway. Plus you never know what's going to happen in the future.
-
Yes, I fall in love with voices and music, so it’s entirely possible. I think people forget it is possible to love the music without needing to know every detail about a given group...
-
If my fave disband, at most I'll be following their member's solo career....
But I don't see myself joining kpop forum like now...
I don't care about that generation thingy, only the artists....
-
-
I started Kpop with late 2nd, early 3rd gen groups, and I've been going since. If there are groups among the new gen that keep my interest (I have my eye on some already), then I will likely stick around.
-
Yes, I already started to stan so many 4th gen groups already, I'll be fine
-
yes, I already love Treasure and Aespa. And I also like purple kiss.
