    The population of European countries is tiny compared to any of the SEA, US, etc, it makes sense why they are not on the list.

    most european and english speaking countries dont use youtube to listen to songs anymore. just take a look at youtube charts, some of the biggest western artists get more views in latin america and sea than europe, so this is not an actual proof of kpop doing bad in the west, just the decline of youtube as the #1 streaming service to listen to music

    Most of the comments there are completely nonsensical. The reason why European countries are not showing on these lists is because they have much smaller populations than the top listed countries, for example Germany which is the most populous country in EU only has a population of ~80 million. Furthermore, streaming services like Spotify are more popular than Youtube when it comes to music in Europe.
