4th gen ggs should be scared now that the Sakura gg gonna debut

I was only talking about the potential nmixx has, guys. I know as of right now they aren't beating other top groups, but following op, I was just saying if there was a girl group to look out for, it's them.

Only the 4th gen should be scared, that's it, not the actual top groups? okay I guess, another irrelevant group to the market

Sure, she's adorable, but there are other idols that are adorable too. As for talent, even in her own group IZ*One there were a number of members that were better singers and dancers or that had better stage presence.

Also, I cant keep track of all the girl groups HYBE want to debut. I thought Sakura would be part of Ador but apparently not? So what's Ador then if it's not the group Sakura and Chaewon are in.

I don't understand either, but I know Sakura was already famous because of AKB48. Jurina was also in AKB48 and was way more popular than Sakura in Produce days both in Japan and internationally but she left PD48 on her own and went on hiatus.

To begin with, while she's well known in Japan, a lot of her uncles fans dropped her after she debuted with Iz*One and even moreso after she broke her promise to return to HKT48 after Iz*One disbanded. On top of which, in Japan she was already hitting that age rage where she would be considered too old to be an idol. Sakura is well known in Japan but she isn't some top celebrity and If you read some of the comments by Jnetz you will realize this.

When she was in Iz*One, her uncle fans wasn't carrying her and the group. Most of Iz*One fans in Japan were female Japanese K****boos who didn't even like HKT48 or any of the AKB48 girls like that and now that Iz*One is over a majority of them probably moved on.

As for China, she doesn't even have the largest fan bar of 4th gen girl groups, not only does Wonyoung now high a larger fanbar and fantopic than her, but there is also Aespa as well as Gidle that surpass her in China.

So quite honestly, I feel like people need to temper their expectations for this group or they could be setting them up.

They definitely won't flop and have the potential to be hugely successful but it won't be dependant on just Sakura to carry. Chaewon and Yunjin are both already popular in their own rights and with the right other members and good concept by HYBE, then I can see it happening.

Right now, rather than Sakura's group, I would actually say that nmixx is the one GG fans shouldn be worrying about. In spite of their shitty song, they are pretty close to beating Aespa debut album record, and has a member that can compete with Wonyoung for it girl, and if that wasn't enough, they have talented vocals. Literally all it takes is one semi-decent good song from them and every other 4th Gen girl group will be finished.

I agreed with everything you said except about Nmixx. Just visual don't make an it girl, it just help. If it did Hwasa wouldn't had become an it girl. Rather than Wonyoung, Sullyoon have a closer comparable with IVE Leeseo who went viral with gp because of her looks/cuteness. And I don't want to downplay them, but I would be lying if I said the presales that started months before the group's debut and the albums being cheaper than usual didn't boost the sales. I agree they have great vocals and interesting members, but before them there's aespa with the biggest national hit in ages and the most hyped concept in kpop, and IVE with one of the best performing songs internationally and Korea with debut, and members that already are all known individually. I believe only Ador can compete.

i don't think sakura's fanbase can even overpass bahiyyih's fanbase but if hybe new gg puts out some good songs, they'll def do well

This is a bit of an underestimation of Sakura because bahiyyih fanbase doesn't even contribute much to album sales in kep1er

Sullyoon and Karina have totally different vibes haha. Sullyoon and Wonyoung both give off cute vibes while Karina's vibes are a lot more mature.

Bahi's fanbase isn't even that big tho. They're just loud on twt but when it comes to which member's fanbase contributed the most it was Xiaoting's Chinese fanbase and Sakura def has a more dedicated fandom than her in CN.

Min heejin's new gg will probably experimental and have creepy concepts and vibes same as RV. And these kind of groups aren't usually at the top of their gen. They'll get solid support FROM GP but I'm not sure about a solid fanbase. Only time will tell but I'm putting my bets on ygngg, I've and sakura gg.

Since it'll be about who get the most love, attention and resources from HYBE, exactly like how fandoms of other companies are fighting and competing if there are too many groups in a company and not all groups are being treated equally or equally successful.

Source music gg will have bighit team. Ador will be managed by min heejin and I land will probably have music by bighit and management by cjemn. They'll have different target audience with different concepts and music. If only 2 of them make it to top 5 ggs if a win for hybe. They know that they're doing.
