What is KMAs?
The most prestigious and non fan voted Korean award show. Only BTS, Big Bang and SNSD have won daesangs at KMAs with BTS winning 3 daesangs (1 SoTY +2 Musicians of the Year) and the other 2 groups winning 1 SoTY daesang each for Gee and Bae Bae, that is it.
Red Velvet won once in pop category.
This year only 2 idol groups got a nom, BTS and OMG. Majority idols groups have never even got a nomination in their career.
These are nominations BTS has gotten just this year, they have atleast more than a dozen KMA noms and most wins ever for an idol group in a show called Korean Grammys
