    i was watching the news and what ukrainians are going through is really not funny, and it's making me really mad they didn't ask for anything and they have to go all of this

    well -- a lot of the consensus of what I hear (through the grapevine that is my cousin and his family) is that Ukraine kinda deserved it, playing with fire that is Russia's border security. Could explain why the chinese are so flippant about the Russian Invasion of Ukraine.


    I don't agree with the idea that Ukraine deserved it. The UN, Russia is a major part of it too, is founded upon many ideals but one is of sovereign equality, where each sovereign nation is entitled to National Sovereignty no matter the size or importance of the nation - that ideal that russia completely disregarded in invading Ukraine. It is a hypocrisy that Russia is a member of the UN and then Invading a sovereign nation. (mandatory disclaimer that I recognize that the US has also had actions that can also be counted as invasions while a UN member)


    Both China and korea have deep rooted animosity dating back to the ancient times, and I'm not surprised at how low their blows can get. Its just sad that it can get that low. Like you said, no one should fall so low to mock others tragedy. There are lines that a person just should not cross.

    My country probably already does that too towards CH similar to all countries that have bad blood with them/picked on by CH. I wasn’t expecting anything else, still doesn’t make it any else insulting regardless of the intents.
