Interesting

Once they are doing the same rule with physical sales it’s over for everyone.
But the rule still doesn’t make sense because you can still buy the same song next week. So

BTS still probably going to get Top 10 debuts (they have been since 2018) and i still think they can manage #1 debuts since their debut streams are up there with other songs that get #1 sometimes but longevity will probably be affected unless radio picks up
BP will also be affected both peak and longevity wise unless again radio picks up the song
probably no one else will enter now (congrats to TWICE for getting their entry before this though)
Finally i wonder how this will affect TEA sales on the BB200

BTS and Army survived every single chart reform, coming out bigger than ever.
So, if anything, I'm really interested to see how they'll slay this one
Don't count your chicken before they hatch

Exactly it will most likely affect their longevity even more if their next CB is Korean no more radio play the peak isn’t a problem...

to quote a certain guy named Luke: this isn't gonna go the way you think (or hoped)

Interesting and positive change imo, let's see how it turns out

So predictable. Was wondering how long it would take a troll to make this thread... didn't have to wait too long at all!

Billboard taking sales from artist to allow force fed radio to take over
Why does no one else seem to realize this? Billboard wants to favor metrics they can have complete control over. Yet all stan culture does is celebrate cause they think the groups they hate are going down...

It's useless rules like these that are dumb. You have songs that are primarily fueled by radio(which no one even listens to anymore) going t30 despite their streams being in the pits and digital sales, which have been mostly dead for more than half a decade now, are your priority? Please, everyday this chart is proving that they're a joke
-
People forget fans requested BTS to be played in mainstream radio a few years back. Radio airplay helped them enter the Billboard charts early in their US career.

Worry about your own faves

The day they stop with the radio play it’s over for Dua lipa payola

BTS will still yield impressive results considering they have great streaming numbers. The only surprising thing about this is that billboard is still trying to elevate radio spins. You would think they would be trying to match the popularity of streaming on platforms like Spotify, apple music, and Youtube. I wonder if it's a money thing or if they're trying to keep radio alive. They've regulated everything except radio payola.

My faves have a lot of album sales to back them up so I think they'll be fine not charting in the BB hot 100
BB 100 = songs
BB 200 = album sales

They sold out a bag in 2 seconds, tickets for that next world tour are about to be a bloodbath. Charts don't matter when you can do 4 shows in a foreign country and make almost $60 mill, something their own homegrown, big label payola driven artists can't even come close to. Selling 7 mill copies of their back catalog..the numbers they pull are insanity.
The charts are not important lol. I hope everyone can realise and accept that, if its a Korean CB, I'd say top 10 and then a hundred thousand think pieces of how they're finally over while ignoring how quickly tickets to their shows are selling out haha.

You're pathetic

it's funny to me because bts also uses all the radio payola but they are still crying and we know why. Don't worry girls, u can still buy the physical copies
It’s funny to me all of your threads are tragically stupid.
