Announcing the 1st badge change: Your new header layout [UPDATED OP with diagram]

Well, the time has come for the new header layout I've been working on behind the scenes to see the light of day. It comes in response to the many wonderful badge suggestions given in the New Year. With the new layout, I'd like to announce the introduction of a third type of badge, joining our Static and Limited Badges: Badge Sets.

What are badge sets?

4 (2 x 2), or 8 (2 x 4) badges grouped to form a bigger picture. This is idea was suggestion several moons ago by @ripia,but didn't gain traction until Pinky_Peachy. The best way to illustrate the current ideas around them? See it in action! Pinky_Peachy, Ibby (BTS 2 x 4), Rainbowlicious and myself (Vmin 2 x 2) will all be sporting variations of it shortly, but you can also check this thread: I GOT AN AMAZING IDEA FOR NEW KIND OF BADGE SETS (EXAMPLES IN OP)

When are we actually getting these?

New rules for our badge system will be published shortly and these will be among the new rules! The new rules will encompass all badge types and how to get them, so please stay tuned and read it carefully when it comes out.

Anything else you can tell us before the new badge rules?

Yes, all regular users can now display up to 8 badges and all AllKill users up to 10 badges!

So how does my badge order actually work now?

These are the new vertical and horizontal layout options, numbered for clarity. AllKill users will have an extra option to move their extra two badges (labelled 9 and 10) to either the top, middle, or bottom. In the new badge system guide, there will be a section dedicated to making sure this part is well understood!

Please leave any feedback or concerns you might have here. I almost certain this will be the new layout going forward, but am still open to suggestion!

ngl I don't like it. I don't understand why the same badges change couldn't be done the old way on the side. Unlike the current one, it doesn't hinder the users from reading the post (this layout especially on PC takes more time to get to the actual post of the user). When it was on mobile it worked but in PC the old layout worked better.

Don't worry, it's fine to say what you think. Let's see if we can improve upon this for you. Can you list out what you dislike and let me know what platform you are viewing it on?
