He is overrated. Huening kai is more talented than him. Soobin is more good looking than him. But yeonjun is pushed the most. Even with all this push he is irrelevant. Most of his fans are only there because of his fanservice. His fans are what you call peak k-pop fangirls with delulu fantasies. You can see the examples on this forum.

he is neither, he is talented to be sure, so he deserves the hype. however he is from big 3 and to me that completely takes out the possibility that he could be underrated. yes HYBE pushes him more, I say this as a moa. but that is a good strat tbh, when you look at TXT as a whole he is the most charismatic and pulls in more fans. to me, he also is the best performer.

Among TXT members only he's not, cause he definitely brings something important to the group by being the best at performing among the 5, by far.
But overall I do think he is. While he stands out in TXT to an extent, when compared to other idols his age and generation, he doesn't stand out that much suddenly. Also, HYBE pushes him and that it boy bullshit way too much, he's not even the most popular in his own group let alone among 4th male idols.

Soobin is the most popular among non kpop fans but yeonjun is hyped more by moas and hybe stans.

I'm not a fan but when I first knew and watched TXT, Yeonjun stood out to me. I started to notice Soobin after he became an MC in a music show.

Yeonjun is well-liked/biased/popular amongst the fandom and Kpop stans.
Amongst non-Kpop fans, Soobin's MC role gave him more recognition, but it is the same for all Kpop idols who have the MC role.
With Soobin not having that role anymore, Yeonjun is still the most popular member overall and internationally.

Same but Soobin gained more fans after mc gig and went viral several time though mubank and was always on my feed. So I just observed that he's really popular among other kpop fandoms.

He's the most talked about member because he gets the most content. He's pushed in mvs, given collab, given IG, given special stages. Ofc he's gonna be talked about.

yeonjun is one of the most overrated idols i've seen in a long long while
he might have all the skills for a (very) good idol, i have never seen something of him that makes him worthy of the praise hybe/hybe stans give him. there is nothing that makes him stand out more than the other txt members imo. i won't lie, the whole forced "it boy" title hybe & yj labeled himself has also changed a bit of my perception of him, making his whole persona feel more fake & tunnel visioned into fitting this (undeserved) title. his whole popularity feels manufactered instead of it being just his charisma. also, i know brand ranking isn't a very accurate way to measure popularity, but Soobin has been higher almost everytime & that's without him having any of the push yj is getting from hybe.
i just wished hybe didn't mingle & let everything happen spontanously.
If yj still got the attention he has now, i wouldn't have minded it half as much.

Adding I'd understand if not all of them want something like a youtube channel or tiktok since they are plataforms where you have to put more effort into the content you upload but instagram that is just about posting pics and you want me to make believe none of them want one except yeonjun? That's obviously a lie. I think they want yeonjun to have some brand endorsement that's why get ig.
