The 2021 MMA reverted to the 2014 MMA where SM had boycotted it

2014 MMA was special that SM did not send anyone to there.

At that time MMA was not considered a major award, and it was expected to have IU (not yet the Senior Singer) as the winner.

In the end IU, god (wow!) and Taeyang won and not one SM singer showed up.

It was more of a prep to send Melon's darling to MAMA to get a Grand Prize, but SM and CJ could not tolerate that so she won the Lifetime Achievement Award instead.

MMA has returned to a minor show this year.

The Senior Singer, Lim Youngwoong, Lee Mujin and Heize show up.

To make up BTS not showing up, Hybe is sending txt and enhypen.

The Boyz is owned by IST, a combination of PlayM and Craker, both Kakao companies. It did not do a filial duty to the Senior Singer by beating her on November but they will have plenty time to do that in this IU-concert-called-MMA-2021.

Because of the SM boycott, StayC gets a Rookie Award.

Basically,MMA has fallen to the level of the Senior Singer and her friends.

Tokopedia is actually big in Indonesia which has 200 million people, with a lot more younger ones.

Indonesia has a big kpop market.

While Korea's pop is getting older, so the Senior Singer and the trot master galore.
