HAN SEO HEE sentenced (Prosecutor Requesting Punishment)

to ONE YEAR in PRISON for 'illegal usage of methamphetamine' (drug)

during her (*4 Years Duration*) Court Probation Period.

The next Court Trial event for HAN SEO HEE is November 17th.

The Prosecution demanded a one-year prison term for HAN SEO HEE (Age 26, female), a former singer trainee at YG Entertainment, who was indicted on charges of taking (illegal) drugs during her Court Probation Period.

(Note: HSH was *not* ever a Idol Trainee at YGe Agency , but true at *other* K-pop Agencies)

Judge Kim Soo-Kyung, of the Seongnam Branch of the Suwon District Court, said on November 2nd, that she had concluded her determination concerning HAN SEO HEE, who was indicted without detention (so NOT held in JAIL) on charges (*alleged*) of violating the Law on Drug Management (so , repeat usage of illegal drugs).

The Prosecution said in its decision-making hearing, "We considered the simple use of methamphetamine (by HSH) and the fact that it was a crime during the Probation Period."

HAN SEO HEE was indicted in October 2016 with T.O.P (34, Choi Seung-hyun), a member of the (K-pop) group Big Bang, on charges of inhaling marijuana four times at Choi's home in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and was sentenced to three years in prison , (converted instead to) four years of probation (NO JAIL TIME) in September 2017.

In the case of a defendant who was indicted and sentenced (guilty) for drug charges, he or she is regularly tested for drug-positive (repeat illegal drugs usage) under Probation (Rules) by a Probation Office (once per month).

However, HAN SEO HEE was detained (so , placed in a Holding Jail) at the Probation Office on July 20th , for a duration of 20 days , after a Urine Test showed positive reactions to psychotropic drugs such as methamphetamine and amphetamine.

In response (to the HSH failed illegal drugs test) , the Prosecution Office filed a request to cancel the Suspension of Execution of Imprisonment (her Court Probation) for HAN SEO HEE. And the Court conducted a closed-door interrogation on the July 29th (Year 2020) of the same month.

HAN SEO HEE argued (in Court) for an error in the manner of the Urine Test. And in fact, the (follow up) HAIR TEST (VERY ACCURATE) of the National Institute of Scientific Investigation showed as NO ILLEGAL DRUGS present for HSH. And so , the HSH Court Probation was maintained (and HSH released from the Holding Jail).

If the Court accepts the Prosecution's arguments and convicts HAN SEO HEE, the original judgment will be reversed (PROBATION VOIDED) , and HAN SEO HEE will be put under Court custody (likely in PRISON).

An official at the Seongnam branch of the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office explained, "If (HAN SEO HEE) she is found guilty, the maximum sentence she can receive will be FOUR YEARS in PRISON."

HAN SEO HEE is denying her (repeat) illegal drug charges (in Court). The (next) sentencing hearing (Court Trial event) for HAN SEO HEE is scheduled to take place on November 17th.

Court Guilty sentence for HAN SEO HEE (HSH) , given in Sept. 2017 , was for *3 YEARS PRISON* duration , converted instead (so NO JAIL TIME)

to *4 YEARS PROBATION* duration ... The PROSECUTOR is now asking

for punishment of *ONE YEAR PRISON* time duration for HSH.

A Court Employee has stated that the MAXIMUM possible time duration

punishment for HAN SEO HEE , would be *4 YEARS in PRISON* -->

(*3 YEARS PRISON* + *ONE YEAR PRISON* as added punishment)

So , the JUDGE will next decide IF that an actual PROBATION VIOLATION

by HAN SEO HEE has taken place ... The next Court Trial event

for HAN SEO HEE is scheduled for November 17th.

So clearly , for HAN SEO HEE , she would prefer *ONE YEAR* in PRISON

over say *3 YEARS* in PRISON ... But , *ONE YEAR in PRISON* is NOT exactly a 'good news' happening *possibility* for HAN SEO HEE either.
