Don’t know about military but public service it would be very hard to make a profit because it has to provide a service to all kinds of people including the poor. As such often these services must be low priced or free. Hospitals can be public or private, it’s to the owner.
I don’t know about other countries but here in uk you can get private hospitals but they charge a big fee or subscription type of payment. Meanwhile literally every single person living here has totally free access to any hospital. So unless you need specific specialist care or are rich there’s not much need or interest in a private hospital compared to a public one.
Just a important any plans must confirm to local council rules and regulations. You don’t follow their rules your ideas scrapped.
So it’s very unlikely Tae could make much profit of say a public park or building a library or whatever. She could if she wants of course but that would mainly for goodwill rather than financial gain. If she can’t get her money back then the best way to recoup some of it is to sell the land to a willing buyer. And considering it’s not meant to be used as private property no one going to be offering a huge deal, the scammers bought it for less than half what she bought it for after all, so she is gonna have to eat a huge net loss.

That kind of makes sense, I mean for an artist at her level with that much money, she should be more careful unless the deal is done without her proper checking or her carelessness. If her late father the one that decided to invest in it then Tae might just support it.

Won't the comedian be in trouble as well? I don't think this issue will be forgotten easily. I hope the non celebrities that lost their money also get their money back since this issue has been brought to light.
I am also quite confused especially when it comes to celebrities. They should know they are one of the high likely targets since they earn so much money. They should discuss this thing with some specialist in this kind of thing before investing. I'm not blaming anyone, but I couldn't help to think that why celebs that have much money couldn't just hire someone to investigate first before investing unless the one that you trust is the one that betrays you (just like in Lisa's case).

It was reported she had bought property in a area where a future subway/train station would be built and as a result the prices would probably skyrocket. Accusations were made that it was done based on inside information etc. All was bullshit ofc, turned out the property wasnt really close to the suggested new station location, and when a tv station went there it turned out that it was used for her mothers business, her own office/studio, and a place where she let young musicians practice and use the studio for free. Her mother had to be interviewed and show them around the property.
