Facts 📠💯 or Cap 🧢: GP999's "Snake" sounds like a Mamamoo / Purple Kiss song

You be the judge. It's my favorite song from that GP999 challenge/episode because it brings a bit of familiarity to me, reminding me of Mamamoo, a group that I like and respect. It has that RBW aura, if that makes sense. I can totally see and hear Solar hitting Yaning's parts, especially the high note. I can definitely see Hwasa, or any Mamamoo member for that matter, taking on Xiaoting's killing part.

It really is. It has a nice sound that I want more of in K-pop. It's something I look forward to a lot when it comes to Mamamoo songs.

Now that you mention it, I can hear (G)I-DLE in it! Especially Soyeon with the rapping parts. Minnie, Miyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua, and Soojin on the vocals.

Whatever this style or sound is, I want more of it.

I don't think it was ever confirmed Soyeon had anything to do with it, but some speculated she produced the song. It's only speculation, but I wouldn't be surprised if she did.

It's all good as long as you don't actually think I care about using anything for clout. I don't care about that anyway.

I just wanted to know if others perceived it the same way I did, and my biggest takeaway here was that it may have been produced by Soyeon of (G)I-DLE. Others saw it as a song (G)I-DLE could do, and now I can envision that. All that is very interesting to me because I love paying attention how different producers work with different groups and, therefore, noticing the similarities.
