and Twice success in Korea help them to keep the focus on them and gros their fanbase more and more, to make their US debut more successfull
hurrying to debut in US is dumb, because becoming successfull in US is not easy and in the same time you're losing the Koreans support

i'm not quite sure what's the correct order anymore. do you really need to establish yourself in korea before trying to enter the western market? stray kids are definitely more popular internationally than in korea, they are doing better than ever.
having said that; savage and next level are certainly not western friendly songs, they would have to try with something that's more appealing to western audience
