savage - very sm. it reminded me of early tvxq shinee f(x). completely blew me away. so gooood. soooo gooood. ningning had that bada/changmin aenergy!! yyj did it again.

aenergy - cute in a corny way lol. the beats here are so good. the lyrics are something.

i'll make you cry - 10/10. Idk what to say they've outdone themselves. Title track worthy.

yeppi yeppi - it's good. very itzy and g-idle.

lucid - 10/10. can we have more dreamy r&b trap songs like this? please and thank you.

iconic - 10/10. the prechorus and chorus are so pretty.

I'll hyper fixate on i'll make you cry but the mini is a solid 6/6. No complaints.

They established their sound with this mini.

Despite the bsides, its Savage that is on repeat. I love how there's so much going on that it will take me a while to fully memorize the song.

i'm always the first to call out a f(x) reject inspired song when I hear one so I feel offended

My picks already are Yeppi Yeppi and aenergy. I felt the album smacked a bit of F(x) and Red Velvet for me. Not bad for their first album.

The tracks were great. Can't wait for a concert. I like them all except aenergy (mostly because the lyrics sigh). I feel like the lyrics throw me off as a fan. I feel too old for some of those lines. I mean Giselle's own synk song with her own lore lyrics were great previously but Savage and Aenergy that are supposed to be written by big songwriter names are embarrassing IMO. If anything they should've let Giselle write instead. The problem with SM is they have too many people working for aespa for everything. There are big hits and big misses. Whether it's some songwriters or some different teams for art and MV production (the aes differ in quality in some appearances is because there's like 5 different teams handling the cgi/artwork depending on the content. The good ones were reserved for SMCU apparently). Some teams are great and some need to be dropped.
