I think it's because it's a small group and each member has her strong presence that attracts stans. NCT has many solo stans but it is too big for nitpicking every member's promo and their daily content is 10xs BP's.
I fear aespa might face the same problem because I remember many complained that one-time Ningning and Winter got a tiktok while Karina and Giselle didn't. It's like you have to equalize every single promo for small groups with all popular members or else they will feel left out. However, more content for the group fixes this problem imo.

Well she at last got a drama. If it becomes a smash it'll boost her popularity massively. Kdrama has a huge audience. She was always more sidelined but I think it's gotten better.
Like slayurfaves said no one is really favoured all that much. It's something most will realize eventually if they haven't already. They give something for one member at one moment and then later nothing. Also they approach every member differently in marketing I feel.

we know in fighting is bad geneally but the last album sales proved that those akgaes also contributed a significant amount of sales...
we know bp can sell lots and lots of albums when given the opportunity so the question becomes if there weren't so many akgaes would that hurt bp?

Literally. Like I thought exol are bad and yes they are but no one is so fixated and obsessed with it like blinks.
Yeah everyone in exo got different amounts of promo and everything. And ofc solo Stan’s complained but no one complained to such an extent that it ruined the entire comeback for everyone else.
It’s a level of craziness that’s unmatched. Like chill it’s not that deep eye-
most EXOL are just happy their solo fave gets a song at all, even if its an SM station release.
Extra promo is just a bonus -
I think with BP, it becomes more frustrating with sparse content and lack of regular comebacks. Like, Lisa's solo, for example, got pushed back, and for it to finally come out with a lack of promotion is disappointing to say the least.
Now, if YG regularly released content and comebacks for BP some of these issues would be more tolerable because at least we would be fed.

that's why they need to do member verions of their next album -

Starvation every year since. I only follow BP so there were a lot of lean years, but I've come to terms with it.
