kpops charm is their dance though
For some kpop Stans, maybe. I prefer live singing to intense choreo with lip synced performance

Idc here for the music anyway
kpop wouldn't be as popular as it is without dance. It will just be the same as most of the music industry in the world.
A lot of people listen to kpop because it is not something offered in their own music industry. You know the dancing, fanservice, variety content to get attached to the group, attractive people dancing and singing.
It is just my personal preference. It’s not the dance that captivated me to start listening to kpop so I don’t care much for choreography. I don’t mind if the choreo is simple as long as I still get to hear live singing
If the choreography is that bad, then maybe I'll be pissed. But I don't think k-pop dances are uncreative.
the same people that then make a thread about how idols look so tired cos are given imposible choreos .
oh poor things, bad company, how dare them!
yes, i would love to see my fave sing and dance, making 3 mortal backjumps and a killing split ending....
and then we see them on live performances using oxigen
i'm good either way
having viral choreo is better than hard choreo that only stan know
I think it's good to have variety
It can be a good thing for sure, you'd get more people posting videos with that song and most usually emerge a dance challenge. By doing so, there is more exposure which can be helpful to promote the song.
Having a catchy hook in the choreography is as helpful as having one in the song. Bang Bang Bang is a classic choreography that everyone knowns how to do, and goes perfectly with the song.
The idea that every kpop song should have choreography that only highly trained dancers can pull off is absurd, specially since the performers in theory are also supposed to be singing.
That’s how it was. Difficult choreo is what is new to kpop lol…stylish choreo that can be easily copied is how kpop choreography should be. It should add to it the musical element not make it more difficult to sing.
i blame the kiel guy more than tiktok
Someone fire him from kpop
You know what? When Twice released Cheer Up, TT and What is Love, they were way ahead of its time. Somebody should make a thread out of this.
