Some people say luck isn't a thing, but I think it's real. You can't control everything after all.
Do you believe in luck?

Even though we probably have at least some level of control over things that happen to us if not everything, I still do believe in luck even though there might be some scientific theory that refutes it lol.
-
Everything happens for a reason imo. If we're oblivious to the causes, we'll call it luck.
Does that make sense? Lmao no.
-
I believe in it, you can try your hardest to piece things together or gain control over as much as you can but we're limited by things like fate, things happening for reasons that we can't decipher etc

ah yes two-face... very pointed reference. gosh it's been a long time since I've seen the dark knight.

Yes. There some things that are literally out of our own control and have to happen in order for you to see the result. Winning the lottery for example is pure luck, there is no way you can predict what the balls are unless you tamper with machine. But matching a random sequence of numbers can change your life dramatically. You can’t say you made deliberate choices that directly put you in a position to win (other than entering of course but everyone can do that), those balls dropping had nothing to do with you.
If go to my friends flats, go to the very top roof and throw a tennis ball over withoy looking there is no way to control whether I hit anyone on the pavement, it’s pure luck whether someone is hit on the head or not through no fault of their own (that is totally a hypothetical scenario and never happened when I was a kid).

I believe it in the sense that the randomness of the universe we don't understand sometimes benefits our own personal interests.

Yes, luck can be a bit like fate, if it's meant to be then it'll happen. Things do happen for a reason.
-
I don't believe in luck because I don't have it

I don't believe in luck because I don't have it
I mean in that case... you could believe in bad luck????
so sorry
-
Yes, very much so
-
Nah there's no such as luck

I can't complain much. I don't have bad luck either. I guess average luck
-
Yes, especially in winning the lottery
-
of course there's luck there's just no way to qualify or quantify it...
play some games with RNG or watch games that involve RNG (like poker) and you'll realise what luck is...
-
yes and unfortunately there is also bad luck which i know all too well
-
I really don't know... too much for my brain to handle thinking about it
-
I think it's real. Divine intervention or something there's a lot of times I've been saved from the skin of my teeth like waking up 7 minutes before an exam. Like i would've slept through it and sat back a year if I didn't wake up. There is something out there.
