Hanteo numbers probably reflect preorders that are getting serviced. It would suck if a store started fulfilling new orders instead of servicing the preorders, wouldnt be fair.

The preorder number is just a guide, almost all album sales meet the preorder number and exceed it eventually as new orders come in. The Album had about 1M preorders and has already sold 1.4M on Gaon, 40 percent above the preorder number. OTOH some albums only sell maybe 10% more than the preorder number.

We might not see the 800k preorder in Gaon in the first monthly update, as the Vinyl is released in December. All the albums purchased with the Vinyl will be shipped in that month.
