why are users obssessed in monitoring charting of groups they don't stan?

Why are they so fussed about charts in the first place? It looks like they care about charting more than music.

Some like to keep track of charts because they're interested in them.

Others like to keep track of charts of groups they consider rivals or groups they hate. Probably always praying for the numbers to be low so they can say flop, nugu or declining.

because they need something bad to say about group they hate. And they hope it will found in those charts.

Because actually in deep their heart, they re really interested in that group. Haters are like obsessive fans

For my self, if i not interested in certain group, i rather choose to skip conversation about that group.

Better to silence than say something evil. Because i know they are not bad, just not my cup a tea.

Cause their faves are boring

It's a sport to them.
