does prison playbook get better?

currently just finished the first episode and tbh found it a bit boring.... should I continue? does it get better? is it very slow placed?

yeah the main lead seems like a nice but stupid boring person... the story also does not seem to have much life if its just going to be about his life in prison...

I know winner's seungyoon is in the drama too and he hasn't appeared e=yet and probably more characters as well but many people claim its one of the best drama this year so I am thinking of giving it a chance

It can be considered a bit slow paced for a drama but I think it got better by episodes. You do sympathize with a lot of the characters by time and until now I am still very attached to the character Yoo Han Yang. He's one of the reason I kept watching and even cried at one point for him.
