1. Thrill Ride

Interesting intro. Sounds playful. Reminds me of Exodus.

Heavy bass. I love the percussion choice. This also reminds me of a SVT song but which one, I can't remember.

Nice song.... However, Should've been short, I mean, an abrupt ending would surprisingly work well.

Rating :- 7.75/10

2. Out of Control

Gritty intro.

DAMN that distorted bassline is so NASTY....

I love the muffled drum (Underwater drums) and those harmonies in the back...

Whoever is singing, Good voice.

Why does the chorus sound kinda sad? Vibe is very moody.

Rap performance is nice. I can feel the charisma from here.

I am digging the vibe. But, It won't be something I would actively seek out.

Good song tho.

3. Dancing Till We Drop

This sounds like this will be my favorite. I am really giving with this a lot.

This song is just good vibes all around. Harmonies are nice.

I will be blasting this house all the time.

Everything is perfect the way it is. The chorus is nice, so are the verses. A really strong song.

This reminds me of couple of songs and the one that stood out was how the horns (something like that?) sounds eerily similar to Dynamite by BTS, at first the bassline sounded similar to how Butter by BTS sounded.

4. Nightmares

BRUH........... The melody in the first 3 seconds sound just like this

The melody in the first 3 seconds in NIGHTMARES is a little cut short, it's not as spaced out as it is in Gene's Metamorphosis

I was jumping around the house when I noticed it.

Anyway, moving onto the song itself....

This is the most interesting intro I have heard yet from a KPOP song.

I have to give props to producers for having such nice Harmonies. And those arpeggio type synth in the chorus is nice.

I am liking this. One complaint :- The chorus has too many sounds, its good that it gives it a thick and full sound but it doesn't work for in this song.

Rating :- 8.5/10

5. Merry Bad Ending

Good song.

Top notch production. Something I will listen to while I am on trips.

Pre-chorus could've been a little more engaging.

Distorted bass is unexpected in this type of carefree song. Good choice.

Nothing much to say.

Rating :- 9.25/10

6. B.O.Y (Bet on You)

I can't help it :-

First 5 seconds reminded me of Sia's Titanium. I love that song.

I love the production in this song. The guitar is so good, gives it a unique vibe.

It's kinda adorable as well. Perfect length. I love that they kept it short.

Rating :- 8.75/10

Final Rating :- 86.67%

Conclusion :- TBZ surprised me like no other. This was definitely unexpected. Good job, boyz.

Stellar vocal performance, as well rap.

Nice production, enjoyable vibe. Cohesive, short and sweet.

I like this. Definitely my top 5 mini album of 2021.
