You do realise that VLive wasn't a platform for Idols but for all types of Korean Entertainment.

I'm not sure if Fansubs are permitted on Weverse but for VLive it was something that was essential, so if Companies have to do the same, I can only see a massive drop of Content.

Of TWICE's 1000+ Vlive Videos, there are arguably less than 100 that JYPE has subbed, it's probably even less than 50 as they basically just give translations for the Comeback Songs.

Can't they just add the vlive features to weverse instead of creating an entirely new platform? I don't feel like migrating to a new app. That feels too messy

Pretty sure Vlive shutting down or merging with Weverse isn't new news lol, it's part of the Naver + YGE + HYBE deal where Naver (Vlive) decided to invest in Weverse getting 50% ownership of the platform. Curious what they will do with the other Vlive of groups they don't have on Weverse tho.
