When NCT 127 debuted I thought they would have a alternative/emo kind of look. I mean firetruck was edgy and out of the box. So I wonder why they strayed so far away from that sound with their title tracks. Now they do technology type/futuristic title tracks. I really wish they kept that cool edgy emo kind of sound. A perfect example would be with limitless. I guess Punch is edgy but I know a lot of nctzens did not like that comeback. I wonder if SM realized that if they kept NCT127 with the edgy concept that it would stunt their growth within international fans.
I wonder why SM changed NCT 127's concept

Firetruck was futuristic I can tell u have not listened to the ep which will make u feel like u stepped onto a future civilization, and was very electronics/technology oriented , they never pretended.not to be that way

naur.

I still think they are pretty edgy but they've added more of a "cool tough guy" kind of concept to them

case in point

I disagree. The only TT I feel was out of place is Touch. Superhuman was a bit different too, but not totally out of place for NCT's overall concept, especially considering they're kind of the flagship fixed subunit of NCT.
Their concept has always been harder (though not always) and more experimental. I would never describe their music as emo. The most emo thing about Firetruck and Limitless was the tragic styling choices.

SUperhuman was futuristic though and about transcending the human condition with technology , touch and regulqr were the titles that strayed the most

I think sound-wise, Superhuman strayed slightly, but concept-wise, no. I forgot about Regular, and I agree.

Well I can agree superhuman sounded like a SHINee song and not an NCT one but I still feel when I see the MV with the song that it's the most literal example of their concept out of all their title tracks

I agree

I don't think so, maybe regular and superhuman could make you think their original concept changed (from badass and edgy boys to futuristic and more sophisticated, the clothes and style were very different from firetruck and cherry bomb) but Kick it and punch are quintessential nct 127. Cool, badass and in-your-face type of concept with a very defined image
