"BLACKPINK Card" was released on the 19th. As BLACKPINK stood out not only in music but also in various fields such as fashion, beauty, and games, it is noteworthy that they will create a fresh sensation.
"BLACKPINK Card" is the first credit card product in Korea that BC Card launches in partnership with an artist. As it is a collaboration with credit card companies that is given only to the most popular artists, BLACKPINK's position as a global pop star can be confirmed once again.
The "BLACKPINK Card" was prepared with a total of 10 kinds of images as Jisoo, Jenny, Rosé and Lisa participated in the design work themselves. It has fan-friendly features such as app payment, record/book, streaming, and ticket discounts. In addition, there are various benefits that can be useful in everyday life, which are expected to be well received. There is also an opportunity to receive 'BLACKPINK Card' as a limited-edition package.
Hwang Bo-kyung, CEO of YG Entertainment, said, "We expect the credit card released with BC Card to create great synergy," adding, "We hope this partnership will be an opportunity to give fans greater satisfaction as it is about to mark the fifth anniversary of BLACKPINK's debut."
Choi Won-seok, CEO of BC Card, said, "We are pleased to release BLACKPINK, which has captivated the global community beyond K-pop, and Korea's first artist-affiliated credit card," adding, "We are planning to release a variety of products that encompass the MZ generation. We will create a new wave in the industry through future contacts with Metabus, NFT and Avatar.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is operating "4+1 PROJECT," which consists of a total of five events, to mark the fifth anniversary of its debut in August. Fans are anticipating the release of the global film "BLACKPINK THE MOVIE," the release of a photo book containing undisclosed images, and the joining of the fan community platform Weverse.
