As YG’s and Blackpink’s official photographer, he really hit it big along side BlackPink.
Everyone knows BlackPink takes on more magazine covers and advertisement campaigns than they do music and KHJ is present in almost all of them!
He may be a renown Photographer in Korea, but thanks to BlackPink, his name and work are now seen all over Asia and may make his way to the west as BlackPink becomes more known around the world.
Blinks know his name and some are actually getting frustrated that the girls are being limited in his artistic direction.

It’s the same ol’ boring studio background.
I can only remember three distinctive times the girls worked with other photographers and that was Hedi Slimane with Lisa, Hugo Comte with Jennie, and Petra Collins for Vogue Korea.

It seems that YG and team are set on having BlackPink and KHJ attached to the hip and work on everything together as he even get to direct BP’s The Show concert. Like everything YG, his artist most often than not works exclusively with their in house producers and in house photographer.
Saying this, should YG let other photographers work more with BlackPink? Is BlackPink modeling potential being hindered by KHJ’s vision?
Don’t get me wrong, I see the benefits of Why Yg does this from a business perspective. His artists photos gets to be taken by a known and respected photographer in Korea who probably has connections with a lot of the magazine directors there (I mean look at how many magazine covers just BP and each member scores in SK). And their artistic team, I.e. photographers and makeup artist gets to be featured in said covers. I just think that if the BP girlies are gonna be 80% models and 20% musical artists, they should at least have a bit more freedom with working with other people, for you know, diversity.
