However, if a brand organises a celebrity pictorial deliberately to promote their goods and services (like luxury fashion wear), then the celebrity will get paid by the fashion company for advertising / modelling.
So, in the case above, for example, Jennie doesn't get paid anything by Elle Korea, but rather, Chanel pays both her and Elle Korea to create a pictorial to advertise their products.
